I see lately Many People QQing about Beging **** acc, IDK if it true, but 2 friend of mine got **** in 3 weeks, so i kwon many people that give acount details to "friends" then that "Friend" wipe out all stuff, THAT IS NOT HACKS, that happend cauze u deserve it, u acc is only yours ...

But yes Friend of mine got **** for real, Dev-team o mod have plans for Anti-bot or protecction for PWI ? in near Future?

    More important than safeguards within the game is how you use the internet yourself. As in, don't open spam emails, don't click their links, don't go to "free gold" sites (they steal your info!), and don't share your account name and password.

    Agree, those gold/hackers sites are installing activeX controls when you load up the webpage which could contain a keylogger or even a cookie searcher that will look for the PWi forum login cookie or something.

    Depending on which security setting your browser is, it could warn you before it installs a high security activeX control or it could not.. b:shocked

    I know what you mean. =\ I went from never hearing about it, to having a random person whisper me daily now and giving me their main accounts name, claiming it was ****. The part that scares me most is the 'banned on account sharing' case. O.O
    How do the gms rate that? Because ever since my bf lost his internet 3 weeks ago, I've allowed him to play on my laptop or home computer. Would this trigger 'account sharing' since both accounts are logged into from the same IP adress?o.O;

    No such thing as a **** account. There are only accounts given away. Whether by accidentally downloading something malicious, signing up for a forum/website using the same account/password info, or just telling someone you think you can trust.

    Read the info in the link provided about account safety. Have your friend send in a ticket and read the same information.

    I must reiterate for all: NEVER share you password/account info with anyone. Not even your mom. If you tell your mom, she'll tell me and I'll haxor your account. Then you'll make a post in the forum QQing about your account being haxor'd. See what I'm saying here?

    guidelines = common sense. Dont visit bad sites promising free gold/cheats - dont open emails if you dont know the sender - dont tell people personal info.. dont play on shared computers.. (could have keylogger) easy stuff people..

    Here is the problem I tested it and got **** a couple of x3 times. I loaded 10000+ from my bank to inventory, climbed onto my sword and hung in the air for about 15min. Guess what, opened my inventory and was left with 1000 the first time, 800 the next and 450 the third time.

    And this has happened to friend of mine more than once too!

    How can I protect myself from these butt whipes?

    I doubt that. My entire family plays PWI from the same network connection, and none of us have even been temporarily banned. Besides, that would relate more to multiple accounts than account sharing.

    Keep in mind that PWI reserves the right to read anything that's written in-game. So if someone writes "I'm not _____, I'm their friend doing _____ for them" it could potentially be read and the person get banned for account sharing.

    I'm not sure how they figure out things like that, but that's my guess.

    Lol, if they ban accounts logging in from the same IP, all college students would be banned because they connect from the same dorm lan.
