Wich kind of patch do YOU prefer?

a large patch that happens about every month such as this week? (taking me 3hours so far and not even half done b:angry)
OR
small patches every week that take 5-10 minutes?

Personally i prefer the small patches!

    I've been updating this patch for like 45 minutes and it's failed like 6 times.

    Now it's slowly making progress.

    I prefer small patches, whether they be manual or automatic. Huge updates take too long for my liking, and they tend to slow my computer down while I'm trying to do other things.

    Doesn't matter to me. If it's small I'll use auto patcher, if it's big I use manual patcher.

    manual patch !! its like 10-15 mins depends your connection speed ^^

    the main issue is that you might lose your daily playing time by updates like this.


    I mean some of us only can play for an hour or two. Which means, you proabably lost world quest lol.

    The kind of patches that don't give us 4 fashion sets, and ruin countless things in-game b:shutup

    well.. in my opinion.. at least in this case.. rather than a 300M patch this week, they shouldn't have "skipped" maint the last 2 weeks, and done 100M patches each of those weeks

    so rather than 300M in 1 week, you have 100M/wk for 3 weeks.. since they are only adding content to prepare for the patch and not the actual patch.. does it matter if it takes 1 or 3 weeks to add?

    We could all learn a lot from crayons, some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names (like chartreuse), and all are different colors....BUT they ALL exist very nicely in the same box!

    I'm not talking about the five-minute ones. I'm talking about ones that take about an hour.

    I'm going to try the manual patch now and see what that does.

    If you would care to read the stickies at the top of the forum you would know that they realize there is a problem with the auto patch.

    They suggested that you do a MANUAL patch. They were even so nice as to give u a direct LINK to that patch. You are complaining about something pointless. As if you had just read the information given to you, you wouldn't have wasted all your time.

    Manual patch took me 10 mins. 5 mins to DL it. 5 mins to install it. Please before you degrade a game or the contents of it read the forum. This post was even unnecessary. Also consider that without maintenance or patches this game wouldn't function correctly nor would we get new content, sales, or fashion.

    Um but brat they did break a bunch of stuff with this patch. Daka it may not have been the fashions that broke the game. Might have been the other content they are prpairing for. May have split something up that they shouldn't have.

    I prefer small patches as I am still updating my clientit as been like 6 hrs now and I am on dsl.
    Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

    Larger patches like this are done to include content from upcoming expansions. They're broken up into pieces like this so that we don't have a 3-day download when the expansion comes out. They did the same thing in prep for the last expansion.

    Personally, I'm glad they break it up this way. And as a lot of people have found, the manual patch takes under 5 minutes - it's just the auto update that's slow.

    Actually i don't doubt it... Just would be nice that each time a major patch is released, we don't get things broken, like have been happening lately. Instead of releasing new fashion countless times, would be good to have a patch that doesn't ruin so much things in-game.

    You wish, why would a dev fix something ingame? It seems so silly. Just release more fashion, that should shut our players up.
