chests i can't ninja loot >.>

ok so i fly around minding my own business just tidying up the coins ppl leave laying around in perfect world, and i see chests with a square formation of mobs around them.

the first one i saw was at broken bow bluff and i was only lvl 20+ so i got pwned a few times before realising the damn chest won't open lol

any idea what opens 'em? or whats in 'em?
i bet this is another stupid quest stating find chest X at location Y right?
