How do you change quantity at the Auction House?

Say I have 10 of an item and I only want to sell 5 at the auction house. How do I do that? I know when trading with the npcs you can press alt after you drag the item to change the quantity, but that does not seem to work at the auction house. I know it has to be something stupid simple, because it would not make any sense not to be able to change quantity at the auction house. Please help! Thx.

    pressing alt after your drag the item? never knew that worked

    well the holding-alt while dragging items sure works for me in AH

    trying holding-alt and dragging your items within your invent to split them first

    Ehh, just put 5 in the bank and u have 5 left over.

    Try separating the pile into two piles in your inventory by using alt, then drag one of those piles into AH. b:victory

    Seems to be the only method that works for me. Split it up into the groups you want to sell in your inventory, then drag it into the 'my sales' thing.
