How To Recognize...Unreputable...Players

Since spoons locked the thread in HT forums before I had a chance to suggest it, I decided to put this here. It's a valid question.

How do we know players who do selfish things like steal TT mats? We are not allowed to post their server and name due to forum rules in order to protect good players from defaming attempts, BUT:

If a player has done stupid "bad" and is reported via ticket, how will the rest of the server know of it? He gets a 1 day suspension and is back at it the day after tomorrow. How do you as a community inform each other of who should or should not be invited to instances where you must give each other the benefit of the doubt? Or tell each other about scammers (like people who sell healing orbs for 65K)?

World chat is a one-time announcement; it doesn't work.

I would say: post on some other forums or talk to your friends personally. I don't recall us giving out 1 day suspensions for anything serious since I've been here b:question it's usually worse

It's obvious the reasoning behind public name calling because there will be so many false cases trying to ruin peoples names.

The GM's should have a list of PWI criminals (people who have been banned) with a listing under categories generalizing their crimes to PWI.

This will allow people who care about who they hire for help to research who has a PWI record.

It's not really a scam. The person could have sold out of what they're advertising and just happen to have high priced healing orbs in the shop as well. It's not like they can rename the product. It's up to the buyer to be sure of what they're buying, and that's a fair part of the game. If you want to get picky, have a look at Arcane Book: Pets which is outrageously priced at 2g. It tells you in the tool tip "Equip and pet will not get hungry", yet if your pet dies: it still looses loyalty. It also doesn't mention that they start expiring the moment you buy them. What about Shooting Aur which resets aggro 10m into battle? How many people have lost cash shop items like Angels, Res Scrolls, Charms, time, etc over this not so straight forward boss? Why create a lynch mob for what you consider is a scammer? In my experience support tickets work? -(Including getting a refund on some of the tomes I got indirectly). Let the GM's do the job they're better equipped to do.

A real scam is when you go on a TT run with a bank that doesn't split or give you your share at the end. -I should have reported the person that did this to me, but have myself to blame for not.

I accidentally put a Seele Token up for sale for 50k thinking it was a Dog Tag. Should I be on a scammer list?

If your account has been banned, you will not be helping anyone, right? If you got suspended, and you got your account back, than you paid for your crime, right? So exactly what would the point be????

See heres where the problem comes into, such as that post in HT thread. From what I've looked into, The guy somehow got but hurt and made a false accusation.

That is why things are how they are on official forums, however that does not stop you from making such a thread in your own forums. Which we have one in our factions forums. However in ours I do ask those that are registered on our forums from our faction to post proof of such things.

Stealing mats is nothing...i got threats of al kinds in Dreemweaver. Insults, you name it. I can never find a GM and when i send a ticket i get no answer. What is going on? Is this a free war zone?

I hope you're sending tickets on the site instead of in-game. If you're being harassed its better to send one from here as you can include screenshots as evidence

Oh i am, i send them twice. And in the game when i click GM nothing happens. I spend a fortune on this game and i don't even get any sort of answers. What's the point of having rules then? Shouldn't GM's come?

I highly doubt that you have "never" received a response though. Average response time is 3-5 days. Don't think that because we don't respond immediately that we're not doing our jobs, we answer hundreds of tickets per day.b:laugh

My main char Thia never had these sort of problems. But PhoenixDance is having all sorts of problems in Dreemweaver at the moment. If this goes on i will just abandon the game ...all my chars.

Sorry the only emails i got was the receipt of buying zen...nothing else. PhoenixDance sent 2 tickets with pics and never got an answer or was contacted by a GM. Tonight i had another threat and i don't know if i should even bother call a GM.

Oh and btw what is online help for it never a GM bothers to answer you? may as well remove it no?

Something doesn't add up, because we spend all day responding to tickets. Click the link in my signature and send another one, your mail server could be marking our responses as spam. You can even send an e-mail directly from your account to customerservice@perfectworldinc.com

Try to be patient, at this point it seems like you're getting a bit worked up over waiting for a response, if you want send me a PM with your e-mail address after you send a ticket and I can make sure we received it. This doesn't mean you'll get an answer before the tickets sent before you, but we like to make sure we're getting your submissions.

It's not really a suggestion.

It's supposed to be in general discussion because I doubt anything will be done about it and it's more a topic for people to share how they're spreading the info.
