Is it allowed to run more than one account at the same time?

    1 account per computer at a time

    so you can have 2 accounts running, but they must be on seperate computers

    running 2 accounts on a single computer is bannable

    Only one client can be running on one computer at a time.

    If you want to run an additional client, you will need to run it on a different computer.

    You can only run one PWI client per computer. So if you want to run 2 instances, you will need to run them on 2 different computers. (for example, laptop + desktop)

    This strikes me as an odd rule. Yes you can run dual accounts, but only if you a lot of hardware.

    My guess is the rule come from the times it was a P2P game. Remember that PerfectWorld has been around for years, and at one point it was a pay to play game (not in the US, but in other releases). So I think it had to do with license control more than anything.

    In order to actively run multiple clients on one machine one must **** the software because the launcher will not run another instance of the elementclient.exe if there is one running already. No one really knows why the developers chose to do this, but it might have been to make it harder to multi-box, among other possibilities.

    Is a virtual machine consider as a separated machine/computer (In the case, I would want to run an other instance in one) ?

    yes.....*sigh* if it is on the same physical computer, it is not allowed. For two clients you need two physical computers. You're splitting hairs here :P

    It's not spliting hair, I've been doing that with other MMO before. And for the status of a virtual machine it's often legally consider as an other machine (for license of the software and stuff like that). This is why I was wondering.

    If you ever tried to game on a virtual computer, they do not work on 3D apps. I have seen people claim they can do it for windows games, but I have never seen it work. The virtual machine is fine for old school 2D stuff like side scrollers.
