choosing your characters height would be amazing because then everyone wouldnt be the same height. and it would also make the world even more realisticb:victoryb:victoryb:victory

Do you have any idea how much work that would take? Probably as much work as they have done so far developing this game over the past few years.....

For every milimeter change in height, they would have to align all the meshes (the different things that make up your character, like ears, tales, clothing, armors, head, etc). And that would have to be done for every single class and female and male characters, than you would have to re-do all the animations for skills, and all the animations for when riding a mount, for each possible height change.

I think it would be neat, but the sheer amount of work involved is just mind boggling....

one can dream but Ice is right I think it would be a lot of work. Unless there was a way to program the bones to auto adjust on all meshes I think that would solve the problem. But then there would be a lot of weird glitches graphics wise to deal with that. really this game has the most customization out of almost all free mmorpgs so....

Indeed the work would be a lot, but I'm going to agree it would be nice. I personally like playing short characters in games if possible, so I would love to be able to shrink my character by a foot or so.

Indeed, it would be too much work, though.

I think this is a swell idea for several reasons. It really should not be THAT hard to implement in a spare moment and would make it easier to make the Fennec Veno small like she should be. Also, everyone will suddenly want to mess with their height so BAM! Makeover Scrolls suddenly sell like hot cakes. However, they need to fix the skin color change glitch for Fox Venos first.

Creating this game from scratch took less take than it would take to implement height changes..... this is the most time consuming part of any game.. the 3D modeling....

If the height bar was % based and all of the meshes were set to stretch to that % then there would be no need to go thrpugh each individual class.
On the other hand though, I do not know what coding is needed to set it up that way.

I agree with the idea, 100%
:D Every try PSO? It's old as all hell but I love the build adjustment portion of the character creation. You can make people tall, short, muscular, fat, slim, average, etc with just the adjustment of a 2 bars.b:victory
