I was wondering about which server to choose based on capacity and how much lag I will run into.Also any other tips anyone has are more than welcome thanks

    Depends what you wanna do. Theres servers that are PvE (Player vs Environment) only and servers that are PvP (Player vs Player / pk)

    I play Harshalands which is PvP and its been very reliable for me, only ever lag when theres massive amounts of cat shops on screen (you'll know what i mean when you see em, lolz)

    i play in sanctuary and the only lag is just like the other guy said only lag is wen u around alot of catshops in sight wich in sanctuary thts mostly in archosaur

    There are probably more people on the west coast servers (LC, HT, Sanc), then on the east coast servers (DW, HL)....if that's what you meant by capacity ^^;

    Lag (on any server) also depends on your gaming rig - I play on a laptop, and I have a little more lag on normal days then my fiancee, who plays on a top-of-the-line custom-built-for-gaming machine. If my laptop overheats too much, I can't play at all. It really depends on your specs and your connection, though you should be pretty okay on any desktop.

    Yeah, what they said, I'm on HarshLands cuz i luv to pk ppl, and most of the ppl i kill are higher lvls, i dont like to pk lowbies unless they ask for it b:laugh

    Yes, I recommend you play on Sanctuary server. It's not crowded, and the only area that is really congested because of the catshops would be West Archosaur. Other than that, playing on the server shouldn't be a problem.

    Sanctuary is crowded compared to harshlands (PvP) and dreamweaver (PvE).

    Also, lag would depend on the servers.
    East coast North America servers: harshlands, dreamweaver
    West coast north america: Lost City, Sanctuary, Heaven's Tear
    Depending on where you live, you will get a better connection/ping with either choice of servers. Also, the East coast servers are newer than the west coast ones, meaning you have more of a chance to "catch up" to the average player level range.
