UH-OH! Fanart!

At first I thought of making posting fanart based on PWI the first thing I do on this forum as an attempt to make a good first impression.

But then I got lazy. Then I made fanart. Unfortunately hardly anybody will like it due to mature content (I'd give this a 15+ due to teh violence) and what can be called "artistic license" (or in Non-Pretentious-ese, "I didn't feel like making it accurate fanart or of the game or was too lazy to do so") so I'm going to link it and leave a warning. So please not to hustle if it offends you, because I have left a clear and visible warning. So if you are offended... Well, you clicked the link.

It has a panda barbarian (who looks like he has more human-like hair) and a deer venomancer in it, the former is because my character of choice is a panda barbarian, and the latter just came off the top of my head when I was drawing this.

It also has a totem pole, a generic cactopod, and a sandwich. You may figure out how the scenario depicted arose (as well as the contents of the sandwich) yourself. And notice how the totem pole is now a Sonic The Hedgehog reference due to looking more like the totem poles in Green Hill Zone in the original Sonic The Hedgehog game and an accurate depiction of the type of responses this image is likely to get.

It is in pencil and not colored because I suck at using Photoshop/GIMP/lensflare softwares and because I only have color pencils, and people tell me my drawings drop in quality when I color them with coloring pencils.

And are you weeaboo enough to spot the Waita Uziga references?

EDIT: Say something please! Don't worry about me taking offense at anything you say.

EDIT 2: When people do not say anything about my stuff... I think they hate it... at least say something to confirm this.

Now that I've got a response I might make some moar fanart... But don't wait for that, I'm lazy in such matters.

If I can find a fine enough pen then maybe I will. I haven't inked my drawings in years. I'm scared I'll ruin the picture. That and I never have any black pens.

But if it's that hard to see what's going on in the picture, just say so.

EDIT: Requesting next few persons to post here to please tell me what they think is going on in the picture so I at least know if they can tell what is going on. Thanks.

ima try do a serious critique on this now that I saw your 2nd pic and confirmed some things. Its really hard to put into set words.

I can say tho, that you might want to focus on face and body drawings more atm. The girls body and curves seem fine, but for both male/female necks and also the mans body, they seem to be a bit 'stocky' as well as the face shape.
Im bein brave and voicing this cause I noticed in your 2nd pic your sense of depth, shading, coloring is really really good. Like good enough to make me wonder, about the gap in the portions I explained above.

Your coloring is very good, as well as the shading. I can see you used in pic#2 about 3 colors in the cactus step, green, light green, and yellow near the uncolored white area, and you actually left a white area for light. Good sense of recognizing light, you also spaced out the coloring on the blue/purple snake too. The snakes curved tail is done nicely. I like how you where careful about the green middle guy, the base of the two joints, closer one is curved upward while the further one is curved downward.
In both pics the cactus foot claws are drawn with depth, you can actually imagine a oval that the claws follow around. Same goes with the mountain shading, the hammer shape, and the male boots. Each seem to be done very well.
With all this said, I am wondering if you have a easier time drawing non living objects and 'monsters' easier over human-ish bases?

Anyway the female looks good, but when I looked at the guy I thought it was a cat. xD
It's a good drawing overall, you just need to work on your shading technique, my opinion. Or maybe you didn't want to waste days on the shading like I did a few times. b:chuckle

And I would like to thank you for being brave enough to provide this kind of criticism and help to me. It is very rarely that I ever get this kind of criticism, and you don't have to worry about how I'll handle it. I get stuff that's actually bad instead of just helpful like your post is.

As for the last question... I think that's a yes. But I really can't tell because I draw furries more often than anything else.

And thank you for noting that the Grieving Kuhu was paid more attention to- my original intent was just to post a drawing of one, then I decided to throw in the rest.

HELLO KIDS!!

I'm bumping this thread with NEW fanart! And it's JUST AS BAD as first one (IF NOT WORSE), so NO CLICKING if you're under 18 or not desensitized to violence! CLICK HERE FOR FUN!!

I screwed it up in the coloring though, should have not tried to mix crayons and pencils. Yes, that's the same panda barbarian who was in the first picture, and that's probably the same deer venomancer from the first picture but with horns more like the ones in the game; And since The Untamed have Feral regeneration, she's probably still alive, unfortunately for her. She's either weaker than him or he got the jump on her... but as you can tell by the scratches she didn't go down that easy.

And uh... that fur pattern on the panda is a reference to one of THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST mangas ever. You get OVER 9000 win points for identifying the manga, the author, and another manga by the same author that has become internet famous and features a cute female lead who can regenerate (making this drawing and the first DOUBLE references to his work).

So yes if you haven't read or heard of either of the mangas I mentioned above... Pull your nose out of the pages of that Naruto chapter and go find out about them and read them (I am under the impression from some of the playernames and the fact that I found the ad for this game on Narutowire.com that there be lots of Narutards playing PWI).

I really shouldn't be double-posting like this... But I've reached something of a stumbling block. I can't figure out what PW-related thing to draw next (I also seem to have run out of ways for the panda to inflict cruelty on the deergirl). So I open myself up to requests/suggestions, but note that your requests will take time and I will often attempt to inject humour into it and most likely fall short of actual funny . Just remember to give me lots of screenshots as references (I'm level 19 in this game right now if that helps with how much references you should give).

And until I poast more drawings... I have a dA that you can look at, but it has no PW related stuff yet; And I already made a thread to discuss it here but it page 2'd on me without any actual comments. I also note that it's only people whose main characters in PW are female (or at least used a female avatar) who seem to have seen my last drawing and responded to it... I don't know what that means, but if I assume* that character gender is the same as the person's gender it means either:
a) most guys on this forum are not confident about their ability to handle violence
b) only girls give a care about this thread.
c) The guys are too busy fapping to the image to make a proper response.

*It's a rule on the internet that gender is fat unattractive male basement-dweller moot unless proven with **** photographic evidence. But I'm assuming this isn't the case for only a few short moments.
