Sounds like Deadspace would be right your alley. Huge horror/sci-fi element, RPG aspects with weapon/equipment upgrade and item scavenging. You can get it for the PC or 360.

Personally I played the **** out of it and loved it. Very creepy game - definitely play it with headphones on and all the lights off.

If you liked RE4 you'll be right at home, as the controls are very similar what with the over the shoulder third person camera.

edit: maybe fallout 3? If your computer can run it well enough.

[removed] and Phantasy Star Universe. [removed] is free and you can play with Dreamcast and PC players at the same time:[removed]

[removed] is $10 a month for multiplayer, but free for singleplayer.

Team Fortress 2 is fun even if you've never played an FPS in your life.

You can also never go wrong with Sonic the Hedgehog or REZ (good luck finding REZ though.).

Nothing wrong with Harvest Moon (after you get used to the chibiness). It's actually a great game and one of a kind. Not to sure about Mystical Melody though....that was pushing it.

I just recently got an Xbox 360. If you do get one you can find some of the older games that are still really good for cheap. I managed to pick up Bioshock for $19.99 Oblivion for $24.99 Halo 3 for $29.99 and some other good games.

If you're lookin for creepy then the flood from halo def hits that mark. It's got nothin on resident evil thob:shocked
I used to wonder why I would have these scary dreams every month. About the wolf, who kept running through town. And as I wondered, I also thought about how I couldn't remember having those dreams before being bitten by this very big dog...

But now I know the truth.
    And I am not afraid.

    Gears of War 1+ 2.

I didn't really pay much attention to whether you have x-Box 360 or not, so slap me if I'm wrong. -Defend-

It's an older game so it may be a bit hard to find, but you might like Sanitarium.

I would suggest Urban Dead, but I classify that as more of a sociology experiment than a game.
