I think it would be highly helpful if the was an official wiki. I've searched through the ones that are out there and they aren't well maintained. A wiki would be far easier to search than the forums and better organized.

I think half the reason the same questions get asked over and over on the forums is that when you do a search on the forums it gives you every thread that mentions the keyword you searched for, even if it was only used once in passing.

I also play ***** **** and it has a official wiki at wiki.*********.com which is unbelievably helpful. The pwdatabase is helpful but only to an extent, it has no screen shots and descriptions of quests and such are broken up into multiple parts which are hard to walk through.

I would love to be able to see what armor looked like ahead of time or what the glow effects look like for different soul stones. Screens of fashion cloths on a character instead of having to hunt down someone who has the item in game because the cash shop previews are kind of lacking in the lighting and/or resolution department, some looking like 2d drawings rather than 3d items.

There are many other reason why this would be helpful but i've been cut short on time and can't list more.

    The only reason why topics are repeated is people do not use their time to search themselves. Try using google instead of the forum search. PW database has never let me down.
    I was early taught to work as well as play,
    My life has been one long, happy holiday;
    Full of work and full of play-
    I dropped the worry on the way-
    And God was good to me everyday.

    Part of my point was going to be that there is no one site that has everything. If pwdatabase has never let you down then you must be one of those players that only plays for stats because i myself would like to know what armor, mobs, etc. looks like and not just a bunch of numbers.

    I have spent time trying to find what I'm looking for on the forums and it is really difficult. For example I wanted to know what sparks where and how to get them. A search came up with threads that where discussing builds, weapons (talking about how often a weapon's ability sparked), random treads talking about other things. No threads that talked about what they where or how you went about getting one.

    I'm not saying it should replace the forums because forums have there uses too, but pw uses the forums as a means of compiling information when forums are not good for that kind of use. A wiki could have categories, easier cross referencing, screen shots, easier searching and disambiguation pages (for example spark as a chi gauge vs spark as a term for weapon abilities activating). Pwdatabase would still be useful for finding things like drop rates which wouldn't fit well in a wiki, so the wiki could include links to the corresponding entries in pwdatabase. The wiki's talk page could have links to forum threads that have discussion on a topic.

    There is still more but I will wait on it for other replies because I'm starting to feel like I'm ranting haha
