Hello fellow players

I recently decomposed a lvl 59 genie, and infused the xp stone I get into a lvl 35 genie. Result : a lvl 40 genie. Kinda weird, uh ?

when u decompose a genie it only returns a fraction of xp u put in so think carefully before u level that genie or decompose it. thats why u see people buyin the xp stones, they probably wasted all of their own sp.

I thought you got the full XP, but the level difference between 59 and 35 will also mean you don't get 100% when you use it.

A level 10 genie has 8740 exp but decomposes into a 1000 exp cube. The conversion rate is horrendous. Then you have to apply the level difference penalty when using the cube on a new genie, making it even more horrendous.

    Fixed it for you.

Abuse, you know what it is ? For exemple, you have a genie lvl 105 with 10 lucky points ( the worst ). You get a new one and decompose it, infuse in the new genie. Lvl 105. Cool, 87 lucky points. The guy can do this until he get a perfect one. That's why there is no full xp.

So the word "Abuse" was good.

When you decompose a genie, the amount of xp in the cube is equal to all of the xp from its last level plus all the xp towards its next level.

So, for example, if your genie is level 50, decomposing it will give you a cube with the amount of xp it takes to get from 49 to 50 plus whatever xp it has towards 51.

Oh, I undertsood what they were trying to prevent. But, they set the penalty so high that it effectively prevents use altogether. First, the investment in genie leveling is too high to make them really available to anyone except (a) high level players who are increasingly playing a different game from the rest of us, and (b) new players who do not really ever want to become high level. Then, you get smacked with the loss of most experience on decompose. Then, you get double-smacked (or is it triple by this point?) with the discount rate because the genie you are trying to infuse is lower level. And, thus, we complete the circle of making genies useless for mid-level players since you cannot even buy useful stones as an alternative to the painful options for leveling the things.

That is why I consider this anti-abuse provision to really be an anti-use provision.

Yeah. My main annoyance with exp stones is they still suffer from conversion penalty, so unless you raise the genie manually to whatever level the cube is, you get far less out of the cube than you could otherwise.

Then there's the fact that once you raise the genie to the cube's level, the cube doesn't really give you that big of an exp boost...

Of course we have to acknowledge that genies are really intended to be coin-sinks, so by inadvertently restricting utility to mainly higher level (and presumably the richest) characters they've actually done their job. b:laugh
