Hello GM's,

I play on a laptop that has a Mobile Intel 945GM Express Family Chipset with 256 megs of VRAM. And I was wondering why I can't turn the water option up. I have to have it on the lowest option. So is there anything I can do to solve that? I have heard of a program called 3D analyze but I don't know if it is legal to use with this game.

Thanks for reading

Unable to turn it up? or unable to play with it turned up because of lag? Before I upgraded I had my integrated nvidia 6150se, which lagged a lot when water was turned up even a bit. It was possible to turn it up, but just lagged a lot.

The game will not let me play with the water turned up at all. So it has to be on the lowest option available for the game to run. If I turn it up the game crashes.

The 945G is an older chipset that was never designed for playing full 3D games such as Perfect World and simply isn't capable of processing more graphically intensive settings like that. There's nothing you can do without upgrading to a better system.

Thank you Surtr. Is there anyway I can take out my integrated graphics card and put in a better one?

Unfortunately not, as "integrated" means it's part of the motherboard. You'll have to get a whole new system if you want to play the game with higher graphical settings.
