Frostcovered City - Curvades

Who drops the Ming Essence in the Frostcovered City - this is the last essence I need to make the Curvade and complete the comforting jade quest.

I have been doing runs with a squad to pick up the jade fragments and have almost all of them. After I get all the Curvades do I need to do the run in single mode "alone"? - or do I just see the NPC to cash in?

    You can get Ming from random Mobs. I completed all my curvades including Ming and Tao just from single mode, clearing as far in as I could. You do not need to do Single mode alone.
    Killing Thunderclaw a lot helps, he drops a lot of fragments and essence each death.

    Now another question. I have all my Curvades and gave them to NPC and got nothing. Will I be able to do my squad mode quests now? I hit the tab in frostcovered city and no option exists for squad.
