So I just started my faction and I have a few questions I would like to ask and seek help from other players that know a little more than I do about the subject.

1. After creating a faction how do I find out what color my faction is?
2. Can I start a territory war as a lvl 1 faction or do i have be a higher lvl faction. And if I do have to be a higher lvl faction do i have to match that lvl faction or can i be a lvl 1 faction taking on a lvl 3 faction?
3. Can some one show me an alt icon for a lvl 3 faction?

Thank you all for helping me out this issue.

    1. I assume you mean on the map when you have a territory? well you only know when you get one

    2. I think you can do it at lvl 1 but you most likely won't win cause you'll be outnumbered

    3. idk what you mean by that

    1. Faction color on the map is earned based on the order in which territories were gained. Red was the first faction to gain a territory, orange the second, green the third, etc, etc.

    2. There is no official word on this. I believe you can at level 1, however, I have heard rumors saying you have to have a level 2 or 3 faction before you can bid. Again, nothing official. Also, as far as I know, you do not have to match faction level.

    3. Faction icons for level 3 guilds are not yet implemented in this version of PW.

ummm i am just looking for some tips about factions and how to get them started, without people leaving them. I know it's hard to get a faction together, cuz people join then see it's a bad faction, then leave cuz it's little and has no one in it cuz it's just starting. I need to know how to make them stay??? But i also need to know how to get high lvl people in it as well becasue they will definitly leave once they see the faction is lame. So please help me with some tips on how to get a good faction going? anyone? plz?

you have to be a level 3 faction to do tw, its highly required to have many high levels, fully equiped with TT, and its highly suggested not to attempt to take over major territories (ex etherblade, archosaur, plume, etc) as you will most likey be unsucessful anyways.

and clearwing, my best advice to you is to start out recruiting lower levels, get a few loyal ones then help them level, and you'll slowly grow from there. send invites to alot of people, but try not to be annoying or repetitive about it. the more helpful you are you lower levels, the more they grow, thus, improoving the look of your faction. organization is also a key factor, such as using titles to tell how active people are. we set the titles to the level of the person, and every tuesday we compare the titles to the players level. if we feel they did not put any effort, we kick them out. if we see they put in a little effort, but not too much, we give them a little extra time to see if they improove. if they put in alot of effort, give them a compliment and a good job cookie :D

My best advice would be to keep growing in terms of both in-game knowledge and level and keep recruiting people of a similar level. Most higher levels would be joining a faction for assistance with FB and TT runs. Providing runs for FB19 may even be difficult at 28 but I'm more experienced with Archer so maybe Veno or Barb could solo it at that lvl but I sure couldn't.

An alternative would be to have yourself and your friends join a faction with higher levels and ask lots of questions; absorb all their knowledge and get assistance with all of your FBs and TT runs within that faction. When you are over 60 or have a TT wep and some of your mates are near your level then you can all go your seperate ways lead a faction much easier. Your faction would have easier times recruiting because you can provide FB runs and knowledge about all the different types of quests and quest bosses.

If you are hoping to do TW, wait until a new server comes out and you would have a better chance. On my server, the factions that hold territories are recruiting lvl 85+ and the top people in those factions are 95+ so it would be hard to provide benefits at lvl 30+ for a lvl 90+ player unless they were your real life friend and they would probably help you or join.

I also wanted to ask: what is a title in a faction? do you need one?

People use titles for certain things. Some dont use them at all. For others, it's personal nicknames, sometimes its rankings with the ranks - one guild I was in in Malay used it to let commissioners know what officers they should immediately report to. My faction uses it to keep track of what alt belongs to which main.

Different factions use it for different reasons.
