Running in place bug

After running the latest patch after maintenance last night, my character does the run-in-place thing after I've killed a mob and taken its loot.

I seriously think this is a software bug, and probably involves some floating-point or rounding error, so that the game tries to make the avatar reach its destination, but due to some math error, it doesn't actually arrive. e.g. for you to reach the destination, some value x = 5.000, but the calculations only give you 4.9994 which is close but not logically tru, so the running thing never ends. Since the value is always going to be off by that 0.0006 or so, the problem continues until the avatar has to perform some action, like fighting or picking up an object. This requires a firm position and the program stops displaying the running action, and instead shows the avatar fighting or picking up the object.

Please find and fix this bug.

Thank you

    Heartstone is correct.

It is a known issue if you are a Barb.

We have reported it to the developers.
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

so feeex it! it's false placement. notice when luring mobs, they will turn to follow you at a place 2-3 seconds behind. O.o

also screws with skills. have fun in RB b:shocked
It's better to look stupid than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
