"Report Bugs" Game Shuts Down??

So oddly enough, and I have not a clue as to why, my game seems to just ... shut down and this window comes up "ReportBugs" with fill in the blanks such as User name, In game name, E-mail,and the description of the "Bug"????

Im uncertain if this is an in game error or what but I suppose I should assume it's not in game. Was wondering if anyone had any similar problems.

Also I have not filled out any of these report bug windows because they seem "phisy" ._.

Any help would be enormously appreciated because I'm lost and it keeps happening more and more.

    well sometimes im out in the field playing and sometimes im vending sometimes it happens after 1 hr sometimes it doesn't happen till 10-15 hrs later (i.e. vending and what not). Sometimes i also change the "UI" settings just before i vend and i seem to get that "report bug " window every morning when i wake.

    This is why i am puzzled however when i see the message most of them seem to refer to my ".log" and my friend seems to think it might be a memory cache problem or something along those lines. My comp is bran new with only month of actual working time on it so far 4g memory, a nice graphics card, quad core, and tons of hd space so im baffled if its the hardware.

    I also run vista and am gonna try running the game in windows compatibility mode.
    Also i started playing this game at version:141 (right around 25 days ago give or take) i think and this didn't happen till version: 144.

    Anyways, once again of course ^^, any and all help is appreciated and next time i get that report bug screen, now that i know its legit, I'll definitely send a report.

    This is a known bug, there is a memory leak since the Genie Patch. The GMs are well aware of it, but wish to deny its existence, rather then fixing it.

    We don't deny its existence. It's there, and we're still working on fixing it. If you're getting it while using your consignment shop, minimizing the game should help.

    I have this happen also. It doesn't happen often but 90% of the time when it does is when I'm in Tusk Town doing my world quest. I remember reading about this here so I don't bother filling out the report, figuring that either the problem's already being looked at or ignored in favor of another cashshop sale.b:chuckle

    Check your power settings to make sure you don't have part of, or all of, your system shut down after a set time.

    Minimizing the game does not help at all im afraid b:sad
    It just makes the crash pretty much invisible, Untill you click on the application bar at the bottom....and nothing happens.
    The game crashes anyway =(

    ive had the same problem. i like to leave my vendor on when i fall asleep. even tho i know when i wake up ill see that same message to submit that problem. i just ignore it since im a zombie when i wake up.
    but this has happened to me even before the genies have came out. even after i upgraded my ram to 6gbs.
    maybe next time ill try it on my lap top, i just dont like overcharging itb:surrender


    ive tried minimizing it and using full screen. althought i dont see why minimizing it would help.

    I am having this problem and I can't even play the game anymore. After selecting the Character and it started loading it just tell me to report everytime.

    I already send in the ticket.

    For me it happens semi frequently, 9 out of 10 times it will happen when I try to talk to the Banker in West Arch.

    More of an annoyance than anything, just reload and go.

    Try Verifying your game client.

    If you get the bug report traffic light displayed, then that means there is something with your video driver or video chipset that isn't functioning correctly to run something on the game.

    Submit a ticket and let us go over your system and see what could be up.

    Also try changing your graphic settings in-game before logging in.

    Please also include the .log files that are in the

    C:\Games\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\element\logs

    Specifically the A3D, AF, AM, and EC log files. You may need to put them in a .zip or .rar file so you can send all of the files together.

    Just saying thanks to Surtr - your suggestion seems to have worked wonders - im asleep so minimizing isn't a problem at nights. Been vending for several days now and haven't gotten that bug report or d/c from the game.
