Is there even a noticeable difference in damage between weapons sharded with 1 Beautiful versus weapons sharded with 1 flawless sapphire?

Was looking at that today... after collecting enough average sapphires for a flawless, I realized the difference is only 5 m. attack... & about 300% the costb:surrender.

    but flawless shards make your weapon pretty and sparkly. GO FLAWLESS

    It's more of an investment. I did averages till 80 in which I socketed 2 flawless just for the sparkle.

    Remember that extra matk is also multiplied by your int.

    Atleast I think that money used for socketing (if we talk about flawless shards and higher) could be more usefull used on refining.

    I doubt the damge is calculated just by the difference in numbers. Like beautiful to flawless is difference 5. It isnt just extra 5 damage or something haha..

    but anyway... i believe the way to use high lvl shards effectively is to make sure u have 3 or more sockets , then u add the higher shards. For example,
    if u have 3 sockets, then u add all average 20 + 20 + 20 = 60. But if u add 3 beautiful 25 + 25 +25 = 75. Total difference is 15 !!! and like i said damage is not just calculated by extra 15 magical damage, its more than .

    Not really, no. There's an NPC price ceiling set for stones (60k per avg.); the prices are going to be close to, but not exceeding that for all servers. (you will of course find newbies selling commons for 4k and such... but that doesn't really represent the economy as a whole).

    awww... i bought a dozen avg. shards for 16k each & sent the guy 300k (how i got my G6 stone)... I'm such a softy b:surrender

    None of it really depends on merchant price. He's the last resort, thanks to stashes, World Bosses, Rebirth's, quest rewards you can always find them at significantly lower prices. There are some rip-offs out there selling avg citrines for 100k each but they're just plain dumb.
