I was just wondering if my Sharptooth Wolfing will ever be any good?

    Eventually, when you get money, it'll grow wings, glitch out, call itself a nix, and Violate people with the bleed effect.

    Nixes should at LEAST be elemental if they're not gonna fix the number one killing machine of PWI's golden class.

    a veno with a nix and herc can kill anything short of a god
    hence why THOSE venos with nix and herc are overpowerd

    oh, and sometimes you'll find something called a "Mirage Celestone"

    thats how some of them evolve.

    as a real answer a nix and herc are legondary pets that are the best pets u can get
    and as for the evolving thing: no,pets will and do not ever evolve.

    Pet's do level, so they kinda do grow right?

    I can't believe how fast a simple question spawned yet another nix QQ. Jesus. People, there are other threads for that.

    Anyways, pets do level, and you can get different skills for them as well. Also, I think (???) "Baby" pets change/grow up.

    Yes Pets do level so they do "evolve" but Baby Pets stay babies forever :)

    look around the cat shops, people have eggs that you can hatch into other pets if you want something better, different, etc, etc. Some people, like myself, also drop eggs around, especially around Lost City.

    Mine is good, but I waste many coins at new skills and upgrade they at max lv as I can

    But wolfs are weak against physical defense mine got Tough (decrease damage taken) skill to balance it
    and I recommend u teach Bash too it will make your pet a very strong tank

    Somehow all threads lead to nixes being OP.

    Okay i was wondering if the veterans of this game could help me out. I went to go get myself a glacial walker then i used the teleport back to town spell it took me to the camp while i was there i caught an ebony hellduke but wen i came back to hatch the egg the name had changed to seamonster guardian i was just wondering if anyone culd tell me the reason for this

    Have no explanation why the name changes, but that seamonster guardian has a decent attack stat if you like it for the looks.

    It's a screwup of both the game code and the translation.

    Apparently, an egg for a monster "x" is not automatically called "x egg", but it has an entirely independent name. This is the part where the code is screwed up.

    As for the Tideborn stuff, it seems monster names and egg names were translated independently (by different people) without them checking on what the other guy did (commonly happens when translation companies are involved --- they wouldn't even know that the "x egg" is produced from an "x" which they translated at some other time).

    EDIT: I've even seen games where NPCs referred to monsters by a different name than what was displayed on the monster, or even where different NPCs or different quests used different names for the same things. Same reason --- different translators producing different results.

    Either way, according to the database entry, you did not accidentally tame the wrong monster.
