how to use genie?

i have a genie named discipline but the initial skill doesnt fit my need so i go to the watcher of the earth to learn new skills. but i have some problems D: the MT points is 1? what should i do to get my MT up? and secondly what is the best genie for Veno arcane?

    the type of genie you have shouldn't matter yet. MT is metal affinity. To get affinity points, level up your genie by infusing experience points into it.

    my genie is lvl 4 already and it has no MT?

    A genie gets one affinity point every 5 levels. Also, you have to go to the Watcher of the Earth to allocate affinity points.

    No you don't, jsut right click on your genie and choose affinity...
    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.
