How did YOU get your herc/phoenix?

Like the title says, how did you get your hercules, or phoenix pet? I'm thinking of getting a phoenix, and I hear a lot of venos get their phoenix by soloing TT a lot and selling the mats they find. The only problem I have with this is that you're competing with every other veno doing the same thing (not to mention other classes as well) and it'll take a long time for you to maybe earn enough to get your pet.

I'm thinking of saving up for a phoenix, and I want to do it with the least amount of spending on my part (save for spending on feathers, of course), and the only thing I can think of is basically just grinding my way to getting a phoenix. Repairs are cheap for me, and I'm not spending on anything like subs or whatnot, and I don't have to worry about pots because I have thousands of them stacked away in storage.

My problem with grinding is that it takes a long time to get enough for a phoenix. So I was wondering, what did all the other venos do to get their phoenix?

    You're right. The lower lvl TT's have become a waste of time to do.
    So I was wondering, what did all the other venos do to get their phoenix?

    Grinding, buying and selling, and skipping the easy/lazy/costly/time consuming xp (crazy stone/justic orders/wq).

    Oh, I forgot to add this in too...How long did it also take you to actually get your pet? Like, from the beginning when you decided that you were gonna save up for it and the end when you finally got it.

    Just want to see your input in things. =)

    Herc from buying/selling and saving money for the majority of my lvl 20 - 65. Nix from doing TT 2-1 and 1-2 6-8 hours per day for 10 days or so.

    But, where are the certant mobs at where youi get the Sorce of Force and Pheniex Feathers? (Are the mobs certant? Or are they any kind mob? Because I have a lot of grinding quests, and I not a Feather of Souce of Force.) b:angry

    About half cash shop and half grinding. Just plain grinding, selling/NPCing the DQ and selling equips if they had good adds, NPCing them otherwise.

    I'd say maybe... a month for each? I'm a super casual player.

    You get Source of Force and feathers from the cash shop or from other players who sell them. No mobs drop them, though.

    I got both of mine in my lower 70's without cash. I could have earned them again on just lvl 81 alone. At that level, it's harder to level one than earn one.

    Still looking for a replacement butt...
