ur genie skill combination kinda depends on ur own build... and what u want ur genie to accomplish... attack genie? heal/support genie?

famous genie skills for bms are tree of protection (who would say no to this awesome heal?), and tangling mire : just awesome for aoe grinding, and taking on other bms or barbs in pvp....

thunderstorm is the most preferred attack skill and it hurts...

Yes, but there's a catch. The stat needs of supports and attack skills don't always get along. Support skills like dex to boost effect and duration. Attack skills like str for more damage. o.o

Energy requirements can also be a pain. Lv10 Tree needs 130 energy. Thunderstorm needs 112. That means you loose 18% damage from Thunderstorm to use both on the same genie. Thankfully, you don't have to use lv10 Tree. b:thanks

so i can go for thunderstorm..pure str genie and maybe like up to lvl 5 on the tree...right? is just like we can only use 5 skills per genie i think i dont wanna waste any skill/time/exp/spirit with something that is going to become useless...other questions if i only want one support skill (tree skill) what others skills besides the thunderstorm suit my bm...and why? again thnx a lot for replying n helping me...

Yup, though, I think you can get lv6 Tree without going above thunderstorm. b:puzzled

Genie's get 3 skills at first. They get another at 40 mag. Other than that, yeah.

Ummm... good question. I'd say Impact. I guess Lightning Chaser could fit... but it's not really a damage skill.

Impact does a fair amount of damage and lowers the target's defense by 10%. It doesn't do anywhere near the amount of damage thunderstorm does, but it can be used more often (lower energy cost) and boosts your own damage in the process.

Lightning Chaser is a magic version of shadowless kick. It has 100% chance to interrupt spells. the damage on it kind of sucks though even at lv10. :/

Beyond those 2, I'm not sure. There aren't a whole lot of good damage skills. b:sad
