I haven't reached level 50 yet but can anyone tell me what are the stats and damage of General Summer's Magic Sword? And is it better than a clean wheel of fate? I am using a Wizard.

The general's sword also has an attack lvl +1 stat, which wasn't listed for some reason. The general's sword is better. You need a hammer (5 gold) to open box, but the gems from later box stages more than pays for it. The sword is basically a weapon you'll have to get anyway. No need to folk over 1-2 mil for a wheel of fate. It's obsolete.

Ahh ok thanks. I already have a wheel of fate that I got for 800k. So I guess I will resell the wheel of fate and use the 800k to get a perfect hammer once I reach 50.

Hardly, it is 7 levels lower requirement.

It's not worth spending so much for a weapon you'll only be using for 7 levels. Leveling is fast at lvl 43. Back in the days, a wheel of fate can be good for up to TT60, if refined and gemmed.

You only get 3-4 quests each level from 43-49. 46 has 5 quests, but one is a lame 2750 exp quest. You're going to be doing a lot of grinding to top off each of those levels. The wheel has an average mag attack of 451. A 3-star L45 magic sword has an average mag attack of 362. So the wheel has a massive 25% higher magic attack than the best alternative. It will make that grinding go significantly faster and safer.

You can still refine a wheel of fate to be better than the L50 sword. I don't think it's worth the money, but that option is still there if you so wont. The L50 sword can't be refined.

It's not like you're throwing money into a black hole by buying a wheel of fate. You buy it, use it, then sell it to get your money back. So in essence you're just renting it. The ~1 mil it costs is just a security deposit you get back when you're done with it. If you can sell it for what you paid, you got to use it for free. If you lose 100k selling it, your rent only cost you 15k per level. I think most everyone would agree that's chump change.

And since you're gonna have to save up 600k or so for the perfect hammer to unlock the L50 sword anyway, it's not even like having 1 mil locked up in a security deposit is really hurting you. You would've had to have saved almost that much anyway.

Hey I clicked on the link just to see what it was. Which I have seen before but..

It said it could be crafted. Then showed you need GM wings to craft it. Does that mean ONLY a GM could craft it? As well as the other items that it showed on that page?

Just asking! And I brace myself for all the wonderful lovely forum trolls who are going to call me names, and make remarks about my intelligence.

I had the wheel of fate before the supply box existed then I hit 48 (or there abouts) and the supply box came out. Well I have to say that the sword was infinately better and cheaper. Well I'd say go for the sword, it's cheaper, does more damage, and you can hold on to it til HH60 weap if you want w/o much issue. I do agree that the Wheel is obsolete and not worth it's price anymore. Maybe if it gets close to a hammer cost then debate it, but even then the later SB stuff outweighs it imo.

Yes I knew about the quest, but scroll down on the original page you posted.

It shows that the item can be crafted. Let me know if you know the answer to my original ?

If you look at the list of items that can be "crafted" with GM Wings it would appear they all have something in common: they are quest items. This leads me to believe it has something to do with how the item is generated upon completion of the quest. Although, only a GM could probably tell you for sure.

Ok. Since Only GM's can obtain GM wings I was figuring the same thing but wondered if any1 knew for sure.

I don't know how they got the facts to make up that database, but it is kind of interesting that they would know that! My guess is that only a GM can do it and quite possibly wearing the wings at and going to a Blacksmith would able them to craft such an item (again just a guess) would like to know for sure tho :)

Probably by data mining the client and associated files.

The sword is not Free as you need 5 Gold to buy the hammer to open the supply box but the Wheel is.

Why craft it when you can get it through quest?

Please go back and reread my posts. Has nothing to do with crafting vs. questing to get it.
