good or evil?

i was wondering about sages and demons can anyone help me out on this and if so which is better for archers? barbs? venos? mages? clerics? blademasters?

    read what skills do at demon and sage and decide yourself what you will prefer at endgame. it's up to your play style
    and playing this game for more than half year i haven't even seen any sage archer

    no idea who is yasmine
    some of sage skills looked nice, but as i have pure dex archer for TW purpose only then demon skills fits me more

    I'm level 37 so I'm wondering how on earth one can get this option to be Demon or Sage?? I'm assuming it's a high level thing

    thx everyone i tryed ecatomb its all i could have ever wanted and more i had no idea it effected skills and not base dmg and such thx a lot

    It is a high level thing, starting at at level 89 I believe. It opens up a new area to quest in with new plotlines as well, if I'm not mistaken. At that point you will be given the option to click on two quests. One NPC to go Sage, one NPC to go Demon.

    As soon as you talk to one of the NPCs your path is set AND CANNOT BE CHANGED. Not even by the mods. So choose wisely and only talk to the NPC for the path that you really want.

    As for which is better, it depends on playstyle. Check with your class's subforum, there are always "Sage vs Demon" threads in there with pages and pages of discussion on the pros and cons. It's best to look up the existing threads in this case.

    Level 89 you choose a path: Demon or Sage.

    Each path has different additions to certain skills you have.

    You have a long way to go and really do not need to worry about it till much later in your levels.
