Old valley of the scared

Anyone ever been there? As the normall valley of the scared if boring as hell, I wonder if the old valley of the scared is more interesting. Wondering what they ever did to that valley to make it interesting in the past.

    well for one, you need to be 95 to get in, 90 old unicorn is scary all the mobs are ? and hit pretty hard, so id assume valley is even worse, asterelle on our server has it unlocked, ask him :P

    Valley of Scarred is pretty nice. Pretty much just like Unicorn Forest but with no time limit. Oh, and nobody around to bother you. b:chuckle

    Unicorn Forest = [?] Mobs that hit hard
    Valley of the Scarred = Dozens and dozens of [?] mobs that hit very weak

    Its kinda crazy how densely packed the mobs are there. It's impossible to land in most places without aggroing like 6 or 7. Each only hits a few hundred but some have silence / stuns.

    You don't have to be 95 to enter, it's either 92 or 90. The belt you get there is level 95 req.

    I would love to try zhenning there but there are very few on the server with access there atm. Still most of the mobs are ranged or have silence so you have to choose the space carefully.

    hmmm interesting...
    i've already opened up OHT, but still have no idea how to open the rest

    i'm hitting 90 soon and i'm hoping to be prepared for it, which one is next?
    Valley of Scarred or Unicorn Forest first?

    i've also heard the quest chain to open them requires completing certain waves in Lv85+ rebirth?

    never done a rebirth order before... anyone have a guide?

    After old Heaven's Tear is Unicorn Forest, then Valley of the Scarred, then Desert Tower. The culti quest for each is pretty similar and involves killing bosses in the past, bosses in TT, FB89, FB99, and delta rebirth. For Desert Tower I am stuck at a step where I have to reach Room 38 in the cube b:chuckle

    you only have to be 90 to enter, it's probably the best way to level at 9x it just takes time to get it. i wouldn't recommend zhenning as u can get way better exp without ticking your charm otherways.

    They're all just reskins of the main map version, but do make very nice grinding spots given the great mob drops and relatively quick killing time. Old Moonshade Desert especially is nice, mobs give over 1k exp base and so peaceful there without others running around b:chuckle . Do wish I had a barb though to do that stupid flying boss that that hits over 3k on my nix b:surrender

    i'm 93 and i still haven't unlocked Unicorn forest, still stuck on the first part...(Awakening Evil - Chrono Guard, killing phlebo and general wurlord: null)

    so... anyone wana do it with me? :D

    Are there any nice grinding mobs in heavens tear? I noticed the Sneaker messenger and array protectors '?' mobs give golden sculpture and good exp, but not very easy kill. Is golden sculpture worth alot?

    golden sculpture is worthless, you get more then plenty from 3-1 and cube at 90+
    the xp on the 150 old ht mobs for venos is ungodly unfair, the ease that veno pets kill those mobs is just QQ

    I find it strange that the past looks older than the present. Also where is the present valley of the scarred?
    Currently flying internet spaceships around dodixie, moving to amarr soon.

    Eh, not really. Those mobs are only good for leveling nix; stick with fish or undines for actual grinding.

    The present Valley of the Scarred is just north of City of Lost.
    Unicorn Forest is south west of Etherblade near Tradewind.
    I think the desert is the area west of plume.

    I'm still stuck at the "Sori Scramble" part of wraiths ploy (Beat 4th protector in rebirth delta). Seems impossible to get past the 3rd protector where the mobs stun and then seal. Idk how the hell Bearies group did it -.-"

    we had a good wb and i burned a gold charm per run keeping all the agro >.>

    it's a lot easier when your party isn't all 90~91. mage going to 1k a lot was what made it hard
