Hi all,
When you've been in the game a while I'm sure you've grown to know the gear of other archers. It's definitely fun to compare :) Anyway I thought we could do the same thing on the forums too by posting our equipment.

It's nothing too amazing for my level but kinda decent I think. If I were to critique myself I'd say the xbow should have a better refinement, the +8 str from the bracers is unusable, and my ornaments are pretty unrefined. It's hard to get me excited about refining ornaments I guess when I don't quite understand the marginal benefit from higher phys resist.

I also have a +5 Dragonbow that I use for grinding and when walking around because I find bows more enjoyable.

Anyway that's me. I'd love to see what the other Archers here are like :)

    i just saw a lvl 47 archer with 110 dex, ~40 vit and ~45 magic, and rest into str


    he said his build was better than pure because it was "balanced on all 4 stats" and "had better hp/mp"


    yeah i know, he's a fail, probably one of the most ridiculous builds for archer i've ever seen

    This isn't entirely accurate though, this is just off the top of my head. I have a few other bonuses I forgot about and I know I'm missing an extra +4 dex somewhere and I put a few one stars down as two stars.


    All in all I think it is decent for a level 55. The helmet is going to be changed out soon and the level 40 boots will be replaced by some nice +4 dex 3 star level 56 light boots +1.

    I plan on getting a restat as soon as I can afford one and going 1dex 4str soon.

    Where do you get those nightfall/requiem of hell belt? Event?
    the +8 str from the bracers is unusable
    Wouldnt shifting it to dex make it usable?

    Wouldnt shifting it to dex make it usable?

    If you havent noticed look at the char link and look at the str part its only 83 so i think he already shifted it.

    edit - Just to clarify 83 str, +7 str from the necklace and +4 str the helmet makes it so the person can just wear the tt90 stuff. They cannot wear tt90 wristguards if they take off the necklace even though wristguard has +8 since u need 94 str in the first place to put it on. +8 str is stuck there so now what they can do is just add 5 dex per lvl till lvl 98.

    if an item has +5 str and requires 85 str to equip
    u have only 80 str. even if u find another item to boos ur str to 85, equip the item u want then take that extra off. the item would turn red.

    the addon bonus of the item u equipped does NOT count toward the required stats of the item, it works for other items, but not itself

    wow, I'm envious of all that high lvl equipment! b:dirty


    Here's my crappy equipment xD;
    - The bow also has Attack Lvl +1, but I couldn't find a way to add that.

    I'm str+1 and dex+4 but I added 1 point into vit very early in the game, I'll probably change that later on.
    The defense and attack values are off by 2 to 3 points but I couldn't figure out why. I double checked the values of the equipment and everything is correct. ?_?

    All of the stuff I wear atm (except the 4 socket pants for which I need some more shards) are mob drops and quest rewards. *lol* I've been planning to upgrade some of them for a while already but the newer equips I've seen so far don't have equally good bonuses but still are hella expensive. lol

    If you cant find better look in the AH. It might take a while to find it, but it usually isn't too hard to find some nice gear for cheap. Got my +7 dex +5 vit crossbow for 25k from AH

    lvl 29 and i feel like overkill lol i have been putting 10 dex every 2 lvls and just raising str/vit when i need new armours/hp

    ppl may critize me but if u go 4 dex 1 str am sorry but that ain't "pure" (i have more dex then most pure dex archers i have met)

    i is "pure" ^^
    i hit like an archer 2-3 lvl s above me i pwn lvl 30 bm's lol and mobs pfffft mobs are a cakewalk
    now i know that later on am going to pay for my folly but right now i am the hardest archer near my lvl and omg gimme a lightcatcher and i will seriously rename myself to overkill_archer_pwns_stuffz ^^

    No problem - I figured it was a typo, but didn't want to do the typical attack post that's so common here :).

    @ 1.25 attacks per second, you'd burn through a ton of arrows, but grinding would become fun :)

    A level 29 pure dex archer would have:
    5 Vitality
    5 Magic
    33 Strength
    117 Dexterity

    From what I recall in my mathematical education, 117 is greater than 113.

    Because the additional effects are pretty good. xD;;
    I check the AH as often as possible for good replacements but I haven't found any so far ...or they were just far too expensive. b:cry I won't pay for example around 50k+ for some boots which have just a little better pdef and mdef but crappy or no bonuses. Maybe there's also a difference between the servers on what's available. Also it seems that players on Dreamweaver tend to overprice items a lot lately :/ (Probably ~10 times the amount you posted would be asked for such a crossbow. XD)
    I guess I'm not very lucky atm or just have bad timing. ^^; I'll continue to look though because I've already found some good stuff in the AH before.
    I've also tried to craft some new armor myself but they all sucked badly and now my crafting char is out of certain mats and I have to farm new ones first. lol

    IMO, the shells used for that cape would be better for a mast ring.
    Ill post my build when I finish my TT90 items.

    it was basically a choice of do i want to use the 2 shell to get 30% acc and 4-5vit or get 18dex and like 200 more hp along with more mana so i can keep barrage going easier..small but meh..its a nice bonus (refine and shards, not using immac on suckier cape and certainly not +5 it)
    the bonus dex for extra crit won out:-P

    and who says i am not going to get a mast ring anyway?b:chuckle

    Haven't found better than the yeti scalp yet, the rest is pretty much up to date. I also carry around an MP regen cape, HP regen leggings, movement speed+ boots, and a lvl1 bow for sharpened tooth even though it still kinda sucks...

    Strength is a bit higher than it needs to be as I'm building up for TT90 HA which I plan to equip when I hit 90. Also, I'm using a jacked up Unicorn as a budget alternative to Soulsmasher till I get the Dragonbow (I only use bows, mostly for esthetic reasons).

    When a bit more Mdef is desired I do have some alternate LA bits that I put on, shown here with my melee weapon.
