client running - unable to proceed with update

    i found , "client element" is steal open , need to manual shout down

    I'm having this problem too. At first I thought it had something to do with the server freezing up earlier, so I waited and tried a few hours later. But it still says it. Now I'm not sure what it is.
    Does it have anything to do with what happened before?

    Edit: Oh, nevermind, I'm sorry. I figured it out. Like what the above person said, the client was still open for some reason. I closed it and it works now.

    keep the thread open i think a lot of people have this same problem. how did you manually close the client? I X out of it and it still has that problem.

    Edit: Nvm! Figured it out. For those who search on google and read this in the future like me, it should be in your icons at the bottom right hand part by your clock. Just left-click the Perfect World logo the client should open back up.

    Ctrl + Alt + Delete and then in the processes tab, im not sure what the pwi client would be called there tho.
