Ill try this pitch again while im in here. I know there arent many of us but you guys made a fox form path for venos that is mainly melle based, I think it would be kinda nice to have maybe at least a legendary or a Twilight Tower weapon that is based on that with some low mag and higher str requirements to use, that would then also have a higher phys atack than normal and a lower mag one. It would certainly help as we realy dont use mag if your all out fox form and the mag weapons kinda suck for attacking. If you go for heavy armor or try to get some vit your gonna loose a lot of mag since mag weapons cost a lot of mag stats, and this is realy kinda useless since if you go all out fox form you wont be using that stat much as fox form is based on phys. I ask this because at higher levels this is starting to show a bit by the lack of being able to do any real damage at all compared to a magic based non fox veno. This problem could also kinda be fixed by jsut letting fox form and fox skills be useable with axes, swords, and such. The last option would be balanced in my opinion in the fact that unless it also gets changed to use a normal wepon in fox form would basicaly mean giving up the ability to heal your pet in battle, and/or giving up pets in general as it cant be summoned or healed with such a weapon. Im not sure how much other classes would benefit from this, Im sure there could be a use for it but im just useing fox venos as example

I can't say anything about loosing the ability to heal part, but the melee mastery for veno will increase the damage A LOT for all weapons you use.
For venos melee mastery cost ~2m spirit and coin total in demon/sage. The increase in weapon damage is 150%/200%.
Now let's look at bms. We need 4 skills to achieve the same effect of increased weapon damage on all weapons. Cost ~9.2m spirit and ~10.8m in coins total at demon/sage with an increase of 75%/90%.
Barbs. Have only axe mastery so only axe is increased for them. Costs ~2.3m in spirit and ~2.57m in coins total at demon/sage with an increase of 75%/100%.
So I am against this using pure melee weapon idea, but ideas others are welcome. Maybe the whip is design for this purpose who know.0 -

oo a whip would be real nice, I like that idea. But yea I know the veno skill ups all mastery to all weapons in fox form I didnt know it did that much of a bonus in sage, so it probably wuld be better to just have a dif weapon instead of enabling normal weapons and trust me Im aware of the bms price to get same as I have one as my main who uses all of them, but have you seen the phys attacks on most of the mag weapons they suck bad. I dont want something to say give us the same damage as a bm or something I just want something different Im fine with it not being as strong but my veno for instance is lv 54 with a lv 20 weapon because there just isnt a way to keep up with heavy armor and mag weapons due to the mag stat cost. Fox form lends itself well to heavy armor, but there is a mild problem with grabing agro of any sort, I cant even pull agro off of a cleric whos healing for instance, things just tend to ignore fox venos and keep attacking the rest of the team even if nothing else is attacking it. Other than that the reduced damage balances out well enough with the addition of a pet, but when in a party it is kinda troubling not to be able to protect the others.0 -
Someone on the forum(and i can't find the post now)said they had this a long time ago on another version, high phys attack magic type weapon, and it got removed because it made foxes overpowered, don't know if thats true or not but i can believe it.Quit 100%...and surprised my forum account wasn't banned...yet0
