Class percents on HL

I was discussing this with a few other people a couple days ago and we came to the conclusion almost half or more of HL seems to be archers, and venos(almost all with a nix I saw a lvl 3x with one b:shocked ) so please just vote which class your "main" is. Obviously this may not be very accurate because this will only take into consideration the forum lovers, and not everyone on HL, but im auto-pathing my wq at the moment and bored b:surrender

    From my point of view, it seems like over 50% of this server is either a Veno or an Archer. Blademasters and Clerics seem to be rare, but there are a fair number. The real tragedy is that there are very few good Barbs and Wizards on this server. Maybe 10% of this whole server rolled a Barb. b:cry

    The night the server opened, I remember wandering around City of the Lost, and realizing the Barb to Veno ratio was about 1:7 no joke. Sooooo many venos on this server, its sad.

    yea there are a lot of venos, but mages ftw b:victory

    highest percentage is Veno, then archer, blademasters, barbarians, cleric, wizards I think.

    I think I've only come across about four wizzies my level. Maybe just a tad bit more barbs. I wonder what the population is for active players here.

    50% of the server is an understatement. I'd say 80% of the server is either an archer or a veno. But it doesn't matter because venos can do the job of every other class all at once.

    Wizard for Main. Barb for Secondary. So... I'm concentrating on the two least popular classes? Wasn't planning on that.

    I started off on a Veno but then I realized that class is so overpopulated, and was too... easy for my preferences, that I started playing with other classes instead. Settled on Wizard :)

    I have 5 accounts, actually XD Everything but Archer.

    Since I work a 9-5 during the week, and have other things to do after work - like groceries, dishes, clean the apartment, eat, and sleep - I don't level as fast as younger players. I'm on for longer stretches on the weekend and used that time to experiment with other classes in addition to my Wiz. My alt-barb took 3 login sessions of casual playing to get to 22, I was playing with him this weekend instead of my Wiz, which I usually have teamed with my husband's BM for quest-sharing, which slows her down and limits the times I'm usually playing her. Since she's my furthest right now, I also take the time to read the dialogue boxes and that adds some significant time XD

    My alts are my soloing characters so I was picking and choosing among them to play when he's not online. Barb recently beat out Blademaster for my fave to play alone :) He'll probably pass my main in level soon since I might end up playing him more, due to the fact that my husband doesn't play as much as I do, which means less Wizzie time.

    *edit* Oh, and I got this account to 3x within two weeks of her creation by playing on weekends. But I was offline most of last month and a good chunk of this month due to extenuating circumstances, and wasn't able to play any of my chars.

    I play a bit more slowly than that XD I'm here to enjoy the game, not finish it. I think I tend to chatter a little much ingame and spent extra time helping other players, too. I did the dang Darkbreed Wolfkin quest twice last Sunday to help out some guildies. Fun times, messing with those things at-level when the Venomancer doesn't do a thing so you end up soloing three at a time O.O And now I'll get to do the other version of it from that evil Daisy girl. Right now I'm in the quest arcs that have you going all over the danged place and I don't use the teleporter much. I'd rather run it and get herbs on the way. I'm a flower-picker! <3333333333

    I'm in the same position as Lareish, except with a barb main and Wiz secondary.

    Both are 6x, but sadly since the economy tanked, I can't afford to play them. Both require charms to play effectively. So I'm limited to levelling them off dailys and raising my veno alt to farm HH.

    I've come to realize that veno is the poor man's cash shop.

    I haven't found a need for charms on my Wiz yet. I just make Life Powder and Focus Powder from my flowers, and bye bye mobs with my HP/MP bars intact. I rarely even use any pots for her. But then I haven't hit 6x yet >.> WTB free time!

    I gave my Barb a charm but only as a safeguard since he's an experimental build, and I haven't found the right stat mix yet so he was taking too much damage for a while there. I'm making some good money with him but about 20% of it goes back into repairs and MP pots. Good lord he loves that blue stuff with a vengeance! On the up side, he almost never misses so I don't have to be too ticked as the MP isn't going to waste XD I'll be glad when he hits 30 so I can give him a focus powder and be done with it. Evil MP recovery rate....

    If I were you, I'd pick one char or the other, or it's gonna be a huge money sink later on, and your levelling will stall out.

    Thanks for the advice :) Only one will be my main but we'll see if that changes from Wizard to Barbarian. I love playing Wizard more but I cannot deny the joy of just doing the whole melee thing with a tank. I actually have charms, they just don't tick on either character when I'm in PvE. (Fixed the Barb XD) So the ones equipped and the ones in my bank will last me a while yet. I hope >.> I'm adaptable so when I run into bumps I can adjust my gameplay style to deal with them. :)

    I find it funny that both Lareish and Loltank have some combo of Barb/Wizard alt/main. I to, have a wizard alt I level up very casually. b:laugh

    Loltank did it first though :) He had a Wiz weeks before I started playing a Barb. I just wanted to try the class out since I've toyed with everything else but Archer at this point.

    And I so wanted a wolf named Garmr. The name wasn't taken yet so off I went last weekend playing with him. Mildly hooked now <3

    What I find strange is that my three favorite classes are all at the least-used end of the poll O.O (Wiz then Barb then BM) Cleric and Veno were kind of meh for me. Which is a shame 'cause I love the way my Cleric looks XD
