English translation and Cost of Gold

Hello group,

I'm a lvl 22 Barbarian in the Brazilian Translation of PW. I'm considering starting a new char in the English PW, but I have 2 concerns before I switch.

1) Is the English translation from Chinese good?? I ask because the Brazilian version still has a lot of dialog that's not been translated yet; there are some NPCs names in Chinese and some dialogs with little squares instead of words (lack of proper encoding).

2) What are the prices for Gold in US dollars?? I know that US$1 = 100 Zen = 1 Gold, but can I get discounts for buying more Gold, say 1000 Gold for US$ 79,99?? I can't see it in the official site as I need to be lvl 10 at least.

Also, is the in-game item mall the same across all versions of the game?? (i.e. item X costs 600 Gold in Chinese, English, German version, etc.).

    1) The English translation is decent, at least you understand the general story/information of the quest. There might be some structure errors, grammer errors but it's not that annoying :P

    2) When you buy 53 Gold for $50 (max ammount you can buy) you get 3 Gold as a bonus.
    That's the only thing I've noticed, otherwise it's $1 = 100 ZEN = 1 Gold

    Have you come across any Quest that's not translated?? That's my main concern as far as translation goes...

    I believe everything is translated. I spend a lot of time in the forums and haven't seen anyone ahead of me mention that a quest isn't translated.

    well 3-x the quest kill dialog wasnt translated till a few weeks ago, its fixed now, occasionally new patches miss a proper translation/mess up a dialog box ( cube once or twice so far, but its gotten fixed), i think wraithhunter reputation guy in arch got fixed too, DQ quest menu occasionally has no translation on quest TITLE, but description have mostly worked, so prolly 99%+ is translated like said before occasionally bad grammer and such but it works well, overall i would say the translation is good
