Need some Help!

Hey everyone, I was a beta tester and I used to play as an Archer. After the beta ended, the characters got deleted so I decided to quit. Now , I have nothing to do so, I'm back to the MMORPG World. I want to choose a Wizard as my main character, yet I can't seem to find a good / decent Full Wizard guide.

Can someone help?

    The stickies are pretty decent. I read through all three and basically filled in the blanks each one had with one of the others, and my own experience.

    If there are any specific blanks you need help with, do a Search of this subforum - somebody else has probably already asked about it and gotten an answer :)

    For PvE, most Wizards go with Arcane Robe. Those that find themselves too close to dying are welcome to switch to Light Armor but might need to learn Kiting instead.

    For PvP, Light Armor through 60+. Somewhere around 70-90 LA mages restat to Arcane to take advantage of the higher damage count, but pre-60 the damage difference from the extra Mag points isn't that big of a deal. But the Light Armor Pdef is ever so helpful, especially with Stone Barrier (pdef boost) running.

    Good luck with that :) Just to double check - Harshlands is PvP so other players will be able to attack you (and you them) once you reach level 30. That's why I'm in Light Armor - more protection = more time to get away.

    Uhm, I'm Newbie, but I can learn fast. Do you have a ventrilo server or something I can come and talk with you about the wizards and all. I just want to make sure about things since I;m still a bit confused

    I don't get on the voice chat much, and my guild uses a different client than Vent anyway.

    You can PM me questions here on forums though, it'd be the fastest way to get in touch with me. But the guides are still your best bet - I'll just help fill in the blanks.

    Plus you might want a Wiz that's a higher level than me, especially since you rolled Harshlands. I have very, very little PvP experience.

    This is pretty hard how the heck do u get to the chest of trial O_O its so high up...

    There's a certain knack to it, time your second jump as late as possible. It's repeatable so don't worry about the timer.

    Best starting point is the roof that looks out onto the noob area, should look like this,

    __\ /_____\ /__

    Basically stand on top of either of the two uppy bits as close to the bridge your aiming for as possible. Then time your second jump right.

    I did it, thanks. Do you think i should be pure mage till what level and then go to LA? or should i start LA right now

    On harshlands? go LA until lv.80(this class is very much a long term commitment) then restat to pure is what I've read.

    Whats the difference between PvP and PvE servers can't u PvP in PvE servers. Also, How do u restart? O_o

    In PvE, after lv.30 you can CHOOSE to enter PK mode.

    In PvP, you have to enter PK mode.

    Restatting is done by using reset notes bought from the boutique or another player, take this to the elder and you can change your attribute points.
