Stats for an Axe/Pole BM?

So, I have a lv. 73 Axe/Pole BM, and I'm a little concerned that I've messed my stats up. They are as follows (and this is with all gear stripped off):

Str - 215
Vit - 50
Dex - 110
Int - 5

With gear, I have
Str - 230
Vit - 64
Dex - 115
Int - 6

Can any of you more experienced BM's give me some advice? I don't think Im doing as much damage as I should be, but Im not sure how I should allocate my points (or even if I need to restat).

I am sorry, but your stats are pretty much right on par. You need 221str at level 73, and when you are geared you are above and beyond that.

Your Dex is nice and High for your build, and your VIT is good.

What is your weapon your using right now? and what type of rings are you wearing?

I would think, if you can get your hands on them, the calamity axes would be a nice choice with the zerk....If you dont have them. With the TT70's right behind them as far as damage output.

Not familiar with the Poles available at that level, so I cant help you there.

With the Calamities, your base DMG should be 1314-2828.

With 110 in dex, your Crit should be a base 6%

If you dont have them already, look for rings with a higher Patk. The Buddist Demon Ring is decent, rage of crixalix is still decent.

If your poor, make the best rings you can, with Patk bonuses.

Other than that, your right where you should be, all I can say is your base STR is a little low, but still within the range of your level 70 weapons.

Well where you got some advice on the Axe end above, will try to give you a little Pole advice.

Your Str is higher then mine by far, but that has more to do with you using axes so is expected. I also capped my Vit at 50 for the time being. Lets me sit right around 4k with stones. Going hybrid, you are going to have a little lower stats in some areas where others would run more, in this case being your Dex, but you need the extra points in your Str.

Weapon wise, the only Pole I would ever recommend anyone in their 70's to be using is Flame Scythe. Great dmg being that it is a poleblade not a pike.

As far as your dmg on a personal level, you have to look at how often you are hitting the mob ( accuracy ) as well as your crits ( from your Dex ) and you should be pretty much on par. Your Str is not going to add as much to dmg as many seem to think. I run my Str just high enough to wear my Heavy Armor and equipt weapons, nothing more.

My weapon right now is the Flame Scythe and the TT70 Skeleton Axes. My rings are might rings, one is the rank ring (Captain's Badge) and the other gives +1% critical hit rate and 4 strength.

First the Axes.....TT70's are not the skeletons, thats the TT60. If your using the TT60's, its prolly about time to upgrade, to the 70's, or, if your not in a position to, maybe a little bit of refining on the 60's.

I would look to upgrade the rings. They are not going to be world changers, but the captains badge only gives you a +42patk, the +1 crit is nice, but your dex is high.

I would make the investment in a legendary ring, its about time to dump the captains badge, not sure what your other ring is, but you can get better, at 77 the misty is available, super expensive though, so a good option to that would be one of these.

Just a little stat to help, if you add +1 patk, it actually will add a +2.xx to your base damage.

Rage of crixalix is a very nice choice.(lvl60)
60patk base
+
+24patk
+109 earth res
+62 accuracy

or a good 2* or 3* thunderclap ring,
2* will be 55patk
3* 59patk

if you can get them with some good bonus stats, they would be solid

Other than the rings and weapon, make sure your weapon masterys are up to level. Believe you should be at level 9 on your mastery.

forgot to mention that this is what I use now. I have two both +2 for extra phys def . I will more then likely keep these till 87 for the heavenly rings
unless I come across a good set of crit rings before hand. With higher the average Dex, I will be skipping over the Misty rings and save myself some cash. hehe

Only people who should be dumping the coin on the mistys are those low dex BMs and Barbs....b:victory
