Soloing fb19/29

So...I've been wanting to be able to solo fb19 for a while (mostly to make it quicker for helping newbies, and to maybe get some molds), but I haven't been able to do so. A 6x wizzy friend of mine says that even at her level, she can't solo it unless there's something tanking the boss or preventing the boss from mauling her to death.

So I ask you, what IS the level at which a wizard can solo fb19 (er...solo assumes no charms, etc etc)?

A side question, same goes for fb29. Those melee mobs are very hurtful to me ;_;

    I'm level 70 and at level 68 I was able to demolish fb19 with only 2 ironheart spells from a really weak cleric

    as for fb29, the mobs= no problem, boss=ranged melee, not wizzy friendly :P I'd say maybe level 90 so that you can knock him dead with only 4-5 hits
    Wiz: Joins squad
    Wiz: Wiz is silent... <--code of honor kill quick and leave without saying a word.
    Wiz: Stays in back incase they pull aggro (better for mob to run towards you then to be next to you, gives squad time to pull aggro from you)
    Wiz: Wiz happens to pull aggro
    Wiz: Wiz stands ground
    Wiz: Wiz kills mob/ or is killed by mob
    Wiz: Honorable death is seen by squad

    The boss is ranged earth, not melee.


    19 is soloable pretty early on if you're LA, as Arcane probably around 50 without a charm. 29? Wouldnt bother before 60 honestly, though with a charm I'm sure you could do it earlier.


    I wonder when I'll be able to solo 51, I can do 39...
    Wondering how much longer these **** packs are going to be around.

    Mm...maybe I should set my sights a bit lower. Me 'n a level 40~ish friend can already take out fb19 wined w/o charms and whatnot, so I guess that'd be the best option for fb farming :/

    quingzi has a combination of physical and magic. light armour is the weakest against it. if you're robed you might be able to tank it at 50, light would be waiting to about 60.

    fb19 is soloable by level 19. it takes awhile, but it's doable(ie kite your **** off)

    I can solo both, fb19 is a joke. fb29 i have to utilize some survivability skills from my self and from my genie.

    i would agree had you said fb19 can be done by a FULL SQUAD of lvl19. no wizard can SOLO that at such low level. maybe a barb with charm or veno with herc...

    She fails HARD. I soloed fb19 on 40. Not easy, but completely doable with pots and apoth items (notably Life Powder). On 6X, i just gaver 1/5 of fb and let them die in my dragon's breath. Repeat 4 times and say b:bye to "boss", done. Fb29 is a bit harder due to nasty ranged mobs, but still quite fast. It is fb39 that i can't solo yet. Tanked 2nd boss on pots and selfheal, but 1st and 3rd are harder, especially 1st.

    I actually just soloed FB19 a couple days ago. I'm a light armor build and turned on my stone barrier and AoE'd everything in my path. I even went out of my way to kill everything else not in my path. For the boss I just blinked around the room shooting fire balls at it. My charm never ticked, but I did use two health potions during the boss.

    I know from personal experience that a shockingly bad BM w/ charm can solo fb19 at lv.30.

    If you have trouble with fb19 after lv.60, thats a sign to change class.

    Mobs are ****-weak at that level(2 shots MAX), the bosses are pushable, sealable which also makes them kiteable, that being said they don't hit hard. You could be lazy and just hold Dragon's Breath on it whilst using healing pots.
