when i load the game and get on to play, its extremely laggy, and the graphics are messed up. Anybody know how to fix it?

    Wrong place, this belongs in "Technical" or whatever that section is.

    That being said, go to "Settings" on the client updater and click "Optimize." This should give you the best settings to run smoothly and efficiently on your particular computer.

    If I'm not mistaken, that is what you are asking about: to stop lagging?

    If the graphics are messed up, could you provide us with more details? I know for one, if randomly colored polygons start flashing on the screen, you need to update DirectX and reload the client.

    i just learned about this game two days ago from my uncle, and im up visiting my dad, so i dont know much about his comp.

    I'm going to need some more information from you. Go to Start, click on Run (or Search if using Vista), and type in dxdiag and press enter.

    Click on the Display tab, and then post here everything in the Device and Drivers boxes:

    Unfortunately, that particular graphics chipset isn't sufficient to play Perfect World International. You're going to continue to see graphical errors such as those until you upgrade it. For future reference, the minimum system requirements can be found at the bottom of this page:
