Want Advice on Two Skills

I would like a little advice from other Clerics on two of our skills. The first is Chromatic Healing Beam... Is this skill really ever that useful? I have IHB Maxed but should I bother putting much of anything into the Healing Beam? I know it can help to touch up everyone after Inspiration of the Beast King but it does not seem like a really viable FB or boss Heal.

The Second I am wondering about is Stream of Rejuvination...This one puzzles me a fair bit because it looks like it is better than IHB in every way except that I see two possible problems. I am wondering, does this skill heal as much over time as IHB and is that double mana cost just not worth the extra power? I am not sure I have seen Clerics spamming this one but I wonder why not.

I won't claim to know much, but I almost never use either of them.

I still find good old IHB to be the way to go b:victory

Both are situational heals. Level the important stuff first.

I would use IHB for single person heals and Regen Arua for party heals.Chromatic Healing Beam is still usefull though no need to lvl it unless you need to or going TW.
Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

As was said above, both are good in certain situations.

Chromatic healing beam (party heal) is useful in situations where your entire party has taken damage, say after being hit by an aoe attack from a boss. A perfect example here is any boss strong enough to overpower the heal from Regeneration Aura on the tank, (Two final bosses of FB69 are a perfect example) as they both deal debuffs to the tank that you must purify off him, yet both have aoe's that will hurt the rest of the party. Since you cannot just swap in and out of Regen aura due to the chi cost, you need to heal the tank as normal using Ironheart, Purify as necessary, and pop the occasional Chromatic Healing Beam whenever he fires off an aoe attack. All this said, it is a less important heal and can be leveled after and slower than your other skills.

Stream of Rejuvenation (powerful single heal/heal over time) is useful in situations where you need to heal a target for a sizable amount and also continue the heal over time effect. An example where this skill is useful, is if you are in a party healing a tank, and for some reason somebody else takes aggro or gets aggro from another mob or something. You pause healing on the tank to heal them so they don't die, and the tank gets aggro back/mob dies. However due to you having stopped healing the tank, he is starting to take more damage as the ironheart effect begins to fade. Throwing him a Stream here is very useful as it brings his HP back up to full and throws on an added heal over time, after which you can begin to use ironheart again. This spell isn't really that useful at lower levels in my opinion and can safely be left at level 1 for awhile, and like chromatic healing beam should only be leveled after your primary skills.

Leave chromatic healing beam at level 1, Ignore what Alrean said, it's only a wall of text.
use it for those weak AoE bosses.

Stream of rejuvenation leave at level 1 also, use after duels that is all.
It's casting time is too long for the heat of battle.

Alerean knows nothing, ignore her pointless comments.

i'm fairly certain that everytyhing alerean said is very true. he outlined situations that all of us are in on a daily basis.

i think it would do the forum good to simply use the blacklist fuction built into the forum, that way we all never have to see mysticlife's post again.

Yeah at your level (62) Wellspring is more useful as an immediate heal. As I suggested, level it later on when you can get it to higher levels and it will be more useful.

Stream of rejuvenation leave at level 1 also, use after duels that is all.
It's casting time is too long for the heat of battle.

    An example:
accident happens -> there's 3 magic mobs on your tank, you can't heal him until he hits them -> half hp when you can start spamming heals on him -> wellspring or ironheart or the combination of wellspring and ironheart = too late b:bye kitty

... lvl3-4 stream is enough for the situation above

Use after a duel? Honestly? Yeah, totally right. We can't possibly use any other heal after a duel.

And lol, why would you even bring up duels? Dang carebear

Thank you all for your responses, especially Alerean who I agree answered in a very thurough way. Now that I know what they are really useful for I can keep them in proper level for that purpose.
