Okay, firstly... I'm pretty sure this is probably the wrong area in the forums to start a thread about this. If so, I apologize. :c

But anyway...

I just recently started playing PWI last night as a Veno, and I'm currently only at level 7. rofl D;

Question 1:

I saw the Chieftan's Battlecat in the shop. It's said to have a minimum level requirement of 60. Though I'm level 7, can I still purchase this mount and use it when I reach the proper level? Or am I completely out of luck...?

Question 2:

Exactly how many mounts can you own? I haven't seen a topic discussing this anywhere, and I'm getting the impression that you can only have one. Is this true?

Question 3:

I've seen a few other mounts specifically for Veno, and other races/classes. I do realize that I'm not at the proper level for ANY mount, and I know that there are rare mounts (like the Battlecat), seasonal mounts (like the reindeer) and regular mounts. My question is, where can I find/get a regular mount? Besides trying to purchase one off of another player, of course...

If anyone can answer these questions, it'd be very much appreciated. C:

    When you get level 60, you will be able to use it. Just store it until then.

    As many as you want, but you can only have 10 max on you at once.

    There are no specific ground mounts for races. Flying mounts however will vary depending on race (your first is free at 30). These mounts can only be purchased via Cash Shop, or from players. There is of course the occassional contest that gives one out.

    yes , u can purchase it put it in Bank (1 slot) , use it when u reach lvl 60

    level req is to Hatch it and use

    Unlimited mounts , limited to no of pet slots u have

    Question 1:

    You can buy the Chieftain's Battlecat now, and store it in your Bank until you reach level 60. Depending on how much you play, that could take a couple months (lots of playtime) or longer. You can shorten the time by using Training Esoterica scrolls, which give you 150% exp when you're using them fighting mobs. Most mounts can be "spurred" to lower the riding level to 20, but the Battlecant CANNOT.

    Question 2:

    You can own as many mounts as you want, as long as you have Bank and Inventory space. But it isn't a good idea to carry them in your inventory because there's a small chance they'll drop if you die to a mob or another player. (A bigger chance if you're a Player Killer with a pink/red name and die.)

    HOWEVER, how many mounts you can USE at one time depends on your Pet Bag slots. All characters start out with only one slot, which means you can only have one Pet or Mount "hatched" and useable at one time. You can expand your Pet Bag with quests from the Pet Manager and Pet Trainer, depending on your class. This involves gathering drop items, or buying a Cash Shop item for the shortcut.

    To switch between mounts, you'll have to Revert the mount to an Egg, then Hatch the next one. This switches them between your Inventory (Egg) and Pet Bag (hatched).

    Question 3:

    The soonest you can ride any mount (land or air) is level 20. Some Cash Shop mounts and Rare prize mounts (like Panda) start out as rideable at level 20. But most start at 40 or 60. By using Spurs, you can lower the level of most mounts to 20, while increasing their speed by 1.

    Land mounts can be used by any race.

    Air mounts are race specific. Untamed get beasts, like mantas and birds. Humans get swords. Elves get wings. You cannot use an air mount ("aerogear") for any race but your own.

    Wait o.O I'm probably going to sound like a complete nub, but items can drop when you get killed by mobs?

    There is a 1% chance that, regardless of your PK status/infamy level, you will drop one item from your inventory if killed by a mob.

    You can never drop anything from your pet bag. You can drop an unhatched mount if its in your inventory.

    Yes, pet bag is safe no matter what.

    Everyone has a chance to drop from their Inventory when killed by a Mob or Player. (Blue names can only be killed by mobs.)

    Only Pink/Red names have a chance to drop things that are equipped (and not bound) when they are killed by other players. Just inventory when it's a mob.
