Hello,
Two levels ago I got my wonderful aerobeast and I love the thing but it means I now have to learn how to fight in the air while riding it. It also means that I need to level an air pet. I managed to get a level 25 bee (don't remember its actual name) that has bash lvl3 and Toxic Sting lvl1. What would be the best way for me to bring it up to my level? Should I land and fight ground mobs my level or should I keep the fighting in the sky?

Also what are some general strategies for aerial combat that venos would use? I'm playing mine as a light armor fox if that helps.

Hopefully your tips will make me and my new pet die less.
Thanks

First, make sure the pet has 500 loyalty or up so it can gain the max exp per kill.

Then, choose a mob that is at or over the pet's level, and start fighting. Your pet will gain 15 exp per kill whether it is an air or land mob (obviously you cannot train an air/land pet in the water). It is often popular to level air pets in the air due to the experience bonus for you that gives the grinding a slightly higher return (other than the pet's level).

At your level I'd recommend grinding on Antelope Pups outside of Silver Pool. Just remember that fighting on the ground with an air pet means you'll have to jump around a lot or your pet has a tendency to get stuck in the terrain.

Darn I forgot all about needing loyalty to get maximum experience with pets. Thanks for reminding me.
