Oh sh**.... PLEASE HELP ME!

Well, im an archer...I only play solo, just ask for help in boss.

Oh, while reading this, i only play for 8 days, im still very very nub even at lvl 30.

And with gold guardian and spirit charm, archer is freakin awesome against mobs (Dont even want to think if i didnt had it, runn 100 times to heal before i could do a 35 mobs quest), even mobs 10 lvls above me die with 8 shots, 2lvls above 4 shots, my lvl 2 or 3, at lvl 20 somethin i did criticals 3000, and some 2000.

But i started to think... what about pvp? because, i am pure dex, if someone sneases near me i almost die.

For you to get my point i will show my stats.

LVL. 30
Vit. 3
Mag. 3
Str. 26
Dex. 144
HP: 833
MP: 841
Phisical attack - 476 - 858
Crit hit - 8%
accuracci 1152
evasion 961
Physical def 391
Element Resitance = 450 all (another problem of having strenght at 26, no good armour)


How the hell will i kill a barbarian (for example) in PVP? (of my lvl)

Point 1. One hit from him, IM DEAD, if i use winged shell i last 20 seconds ok....
Point 2. I CANT run from him, because he is faster than me, and i need to stand still in order to shoot... so.. I DIE.
Point 3. IM DEAD.

So how can an archer defeat other class in PvP ?? Is it possible ?
How the hell i keep AWAY from the others?

Another question is, my gear (armour).
ANY FREAKIN GOOD GEAR REQUIRES 26 STRENGTH ?!!!?!!!b:worried
An armour for my lvl, the one that requires LESS strenght still requires about 45.... If i want to be pure dex... wait... i can be pure dex?

If archers had more damage than others, maybe.
If archers were faster than the others, maybe.
If archers could stay away from other, maybe.

I really dont want to spend another weak doing a lvl 30 class and spend more money on other character, so, what can i do?
Please please help me. ANYTHING is a good help.

WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF AN ARCHER TO THE OTHER CLASSES ???

    Read Lady Annor's guide.

    Specifically, follow the advice that multiple people have already given you about your stat points. Your Strength should be at your level + 4. This allows you to wear the best light armor for your current level.

    FOR THE LAST TIME! YOU SHOULD HAVE YOUR LVL +4 IN STR!!!


    at 30 you can wear rank armor, you need 300 rep and 34 (30 + 4) str

    archers have the fastest base speed on foot

    Dude if your having problems as an archer in pvp at your level with pure dex then just quit the game period.

    Although you are a glass cannon you should have a very high dex which means you should be able to do massive damage to anyone around your level.

    If your worried about survivability I seem to do very good with my build of 40 vit 50 str at lvl 52 (b4 ppl start crying about my lvl +4 I make it up with my equips which makes it 59) and the rest is dex. I can do significant amounts of damage, im able to break heiros, and I have a good amount of hp.

    In tiger form barbs are faster ^^
    Answers in no particular order to some of the questions posed:
    - The majority of your HP at later levels won't come from your 3 Vitality, It will come from your levels and from your +HP equipment. While that point seems far away now, a point will be reached where you will NOT die in 1-2 hits (usually) from Barbs around your level. Its about High HP, refined, and citrine (HP) gemmed armor.

    - The armor thing has been mentioned... you need more strength, you should always be able to wear light armor at your own level.

    - Keeping away is not easy... In mass PVP the best you can generally try to do is remain inconspicous and try not to be targetted. In 1:1 generally the only thing running does is prolong combat, so if your opponent is looking to finish you off, it buys a little time at best. As you can not do heavy damage while moving around, and as most people at high levels have charms for PVP... you likely wont score many kills while playing scared.

    - The advantage of an archer in PVP as I see it is versatility... while we don't have rediculous phoenixes or barbarian HP, we are quite adaptable and able to fend off a variety of different attackers.

    lol I kill barbs also by using the following

    stunning arrow > Frost arrow > Lightning Strike > Aim Low > Regular shots > Poison arrow lol

    frost arrow dont work on pvp b:surrender n while would ya even shoot a "poison arrow" specially at the end... n regular shots? that wont kill a barbarian unless yar spark...

    Stuning arrow > lightning strike > aim low > deadly shot > lightstorm > stuning arrow > thuderblast

    Frost arrow does slow down opponent. Or did I miss something?

    any barb who dies to...physical dmg from archer is a disgrace to barbs and should stop playing as 1 because thats is just..pathetic...

    so true

    and why would you use frost right after stun? that would only work if stun failed or if you waited the actual 3 seconds of stun to use frost

    I only did 4 since i play, 3 won, 1 lost (this one was a joke against a lvl 60 wiz).
    I have gold hp and spirit charm, but they dont work in a duel...
    is there a specific charm to do that? lol if i could use charms in duels that would be awesome, that way maybe i won against the barb :P

    just won 2 duels and lost 1 (wrong keyboard press) against a 72 or so barb. We were getting bored in fb29 waiting for the tabber after we cleaned up everything.

    And really, if someone has problems in pvp as an archer, that person should just quit the game and play solitaire.

    PVP is not DUELS. In duels i can easily 3 shot a barb that i have no chance of killing in the wild.
