You did quite a travel, didn't you? b:chuckle

You mean Bengal Ridge your current location, right? Is a little east and a bit far south from Inn of the Eagle, the place you started (assuming you're Human).

You have some ways to get outta here:

    1 - Play Solid Snake.

All monsters have "aggro radius", what means they attack you if you get too much near. Try to be far from the monsters all time.

To make it easier, open your system menu (bottom-right corner of the screen) and select the system settings option (the computer button). In the "game" tab, see the group "mini map" at bottom, and mark the "monsters" option, then press ok. The monsters will appear on the mini map as white dots and you'll be really playing Solid Snake.b:cool

2 - Teleport to nearest city and ask for scort

Every character, no matter the class, starts the gaming having the "City Teleportation" skill. It have 1 hour cooldown between uses, and teleports you to the nearest city - in your case, I believe you'll be sent to Orchid Temple. Once there, ask someone to scort you back to Etherblade. No one have to help you, but you can find some nice people who wants to, who knows? Once you get help, walk closer to him/her and try to stay far from the monsters until you get the safe place.

And don't forget to say thanks. b:pleased

    Good luck.

Is a good idea leave in this topic you character name and your server. Maybe you get from here a good soul to help you (can be even me, if you're on Dreamweaver server).

I don't think you'll be able to use teleporter yet anyway. It's a later level where that is unlocked, I believe. Definitely after 3.

I did a lot of traveling in higher level areas early on, and it takes practice to dodge the monsters. Have your mini map set up so it shows the monsters as white dots. Open your map up so that you can drop a navigation flag onto Etherblade. Go back to your screen, it should appear as a colored circle at the edge of the map circle.

You won't be able to autopath straight to it - you'll run into too many mobs and die. But you can keep an eye on it and head in that general direction. Keep an eye on your mini map, and keep your screen zoomed out a little.

The most direct route isn't always the best. Sometimes if you follow the roads, you'll have a pretty clear path. But there's always a group of mobs along it at some point; you'll have to go around them. Use your mini map to help figure out how to get through them. When they cluster too tightly, go around.

On your screen, you'll want at least 20 meters between you and any mob. The ones you are near are probably aggressive, and will attack you if you get too close. 20 meters is about the distance of a casting spell, or a mob attack distance skill. Visually, imagine your character laying down head-to-feet with two other characters. Try to keep that much space between you and the mobs.

Step carefully, and run for it when something's chasing you. On the upside, if you die closer to another town, it will make your trip shorter.

I made it to Etherblade dodging the monsters. It took a few tries, but I got there in the end.
    Thx both of you.

Glad to hear you made it back :) Venturing into areas above your level is good training, but it sure can be nervewracking when you go too far and need to turn around.

Good luck in the game, the next stretch should seem easier for a while XD
