Fb 19 - drops

Hi there... ive a problem... the last three times I did fb19, (2x with tabs and 1x without) the boss didnt drop nothing special.. (coins b:surrender)
what i need to do? the lower lvl gives the lasts hits?


PS: im 51 veno

PS2: Did again fb without tabs and didnt drop :s

    Your level affects drop rates. Higher level players killing lower level mobs will have significantly lower drop rates. In order to see a decent drop rate for anything you need to be within a few levels of the mob. Don't expect to see many drops in fb19 at your level, even if you are helping lowbies with it.

    im currently a lvl 42 veno and have soloed fb 19 a few different times without tabs. I'm not exactly sure if this is just my luck or if others have noticed this, but in soloing them the only one that i have ever gotten actual drops besides coin is the Untamed FB19. . all others just drop coin at final boss


    me and a friend also tried doing the fb19 cave run without tab down by the elves place and got only coins. .i was mad and said lets try mine and sure enough again we got tons of different armor and such

    When I did my fb19 (untamed & tabbed) with a bunch of lvl60-70 plus people (I was around about lvl 21-22) we got a ton of stuff including a mold. If that helps =/

    You'll have a chance at a mold at high levels but it'll be extremely low. I farmed FB19 at level 77 or so about 20 times and only got one mold. Most of the time it was coins with occasionally some DQ items thrown in.

    My current level is 52. I farmed FB 19 once last weekend for the first time. However, the drops were terrible. I think I get more benefit grinding my current level mobs than soloing FB19.

    Am I wrong on this?

    omg thank u so much, im glad i found this thread. i had the same problem only a lot worse.

    My personnal experience is that fb mobs are less affected by the reduced drop rate. It can just be my luck, but I always go to fb19 to get dq21 items, and it works really good. I hardly ever get those when killing normal mobs, but when I go into fb19 (untamed) I have my stock refilled before reaching the 2nd chamber. As for other drops, everything depends on the run. I've never had a mold in fb19, some runs give only coins, others give armor and stuff, and some give low mats.

    Anyways, I don't think soloing fb19 is efficient way to get coins. Normally it costs me 18k in repairs for 20k stuff. However, it's really usefull for doing dq21 over and over again :p

    Well, I play a veno and when I did my fb19, I got pretty good drops... A mirage sword mold and a couple of 3 star items (helmet and dual axes). I did go into the other races fb19's and got nothing but coins (just like advent_fox). So maybe it's just luck, or the untamed cave boss DOES drop good items...

    its all luck...trust me i have helped people do fb 19s all the time and so far...no molds...and like one 3 * item some one else gets and runs away with...*sighs and goes to the trading post*

    I've soloed fb19 instances about 20 times now. I've figured out how to kill the human fb19 boss recently so it was mostly untamed and eves fb19 runs. I've got 2 molds, a bow mold and an amulet mold both from the elves boss. Also I've got about 10 three star items, one Glaive lvl19 and the rest was armor/ornaments. I've got pure gold drops about 6 times. I hate those moments b:shocked

    I'll stop doing that after I get mirage sword mold or I can find one at reasonable price. Luckily it can be dropped from every fb19 boss.

    im a level 53 veno and have solo'ed all the fb 19's with no tabber and have gotten mutiple 3 stars dq and tons of coins but no mold. so yes its possible to get good drops b:pleased

    I have to chime in here...

    Earlier this week I ran FB19 a few times with some friends. I was lvl 46 and i had a lvl 49 cleric and lvl 36 barb with me. We ran through FB19 5 times altogether. We got good drops on 3 of those 5 runs (including 3 molds!). Interestingly enough, the only 2 times we did not get drops (only coins) was when we ran the Untamed dungeon. The other 3 times we ran the elf dungeon and got drops every time. The first run, we got 2 molds, the second run we only got "normal" drops... armor, dq, etc. The third run we got another mold. In each of those runs, one of the clerics healed while the other attacked. And obviously the barb couldn't hold the aggro against the significantly higher damage output of a higher-level cleric so the cleric did most of the killing. I'm not trying to diminish what the barb was able to do here as he was VERY helpful as we had a tendency to pull 3 or 4 mobs at once.

    I think it is interesting that the elf dungeon gave us the drops while the untamed did not. Could there be something to that thought? Could it actually matter what race does the "killing" in that particular FB run?

    If so, I would think it would be difficult to determine because of the way that probabilities work. It would take dozens of FB19 runs at least to get the kind of data to actually support a hypothesis one way or the other with any degree of accuracy... and who wants to spend that much time? ;)

    One of the molds we got on our first run last week was the mirage sword. I manufactured it for a wizard in my faction and it's pretty sweet. It bumped his damage output by about 35-40%.

    On my lvl 33 veno i soloed human fb (time wasnt worth it) and i got 5 3*items and bunch of dq. filled my inventory with more to go. sadly time wasnt worth it yet and higher lvl does affect it. i play cleric now so it doesnt matter but just thought i would throw my opinion

    Hmm... Very interesting Imuretay... Come to think of it, when I did my veno's fb19, a level 37 barb was doing all the tanking with one level 32 cleric throwing in some of her nukes and another cleric healing and buffing the whole squad (yours truly was not being risked of dieing hence was safe and alone in a corner rooting for her squad mates! b:cute) So maybe, the drops depend on the race doing most of the killing... And if you're in the dungeon of your race and doing most of the killing, maybe that is also a factor in the type of drops you'll get. I'm going to try that out with my cleric's fb19...

    Question on drop rates, are they affected by the highest level of the squad OR the level of the greatest damage dealer. In other words, if a high level was in a same level squad but did little more than stand around and watch, would the drop rates be significantly affected?

    strange... every FB I've ever done (and I played on MY version before international launched) the boss mob dropped loads of stuff - but I've not come across any molds yet. The only time I ever didn't get a single drop from the boss is when I solo'd the untamed fb19 with my level 45 werefox (veno). And I think that was because it just took too much time.

    Why would you farm fb19? People don't BECAUSE of the bad drops. Even if you get drops they most likely won't be worth anything. People usually farm fb69+ because that is when the good molds start to drop. =) Calamities in fb69, misties in fb79, etc..
