Show-off newmade sig

Oo it's not so bad I must say - even tho the fist in the corner is pretty lol

When doing in photoshop, I suggest, after tryping in a text u go to Layer->Layer Style->Opacity (something) - chill around there, push buttons, check boxes, uncheck boxes and you'll see magic happening (that's how you would get fancy looking fonts - BUT do not overdo with these, be tasty :P).

Colors are not so bad either. Even tho I must say that Black + Red IS getting kinda old (all the gothinc boys (not that I have anything against goth - quite the contrary) did their myspace and vampirefreaks accounts with these colors - and they did NOT look nice).
Also you should be careful with blurring and smudgeing edges because the tricks done on the fonts on your image do not look very clean to me : /
And cleanness is the first thing that happens like a good effect on sigs and any images.

The screens are very nice, as well sa the colors of their background The fading from beige (?) to dark in the right end looks really neat - I like it.

So finishing: As for the fonts and the red bg part, I think you should figure out something hmm... More neutral(?) You could still keep it dark, play around with red and black, but you should trydifferent tones (like a little darker red and a little lighter black etc etc - plus the layer style effects if you ought to find them in the program - REALLY USEFUL!.
If you seriously need a fist on the sig, well, you could try to think over again and maybe find a decent "fist" brush that can be there for you and look nice at the same time You might find different brushes in google, there are a lot for free downloading and all you do is put them in the folder named "Brushes" somewhere in the PS program folders (Sorry if I get too obvious here )

Ahh too bad I started with the negatives first - still, considering you are kinda new to ps (as you said, you don't know much about it) and we are looking at your FIRST sig - I must say you have talent (due to my first attempts didn't look far so good as yours now )

well, if you need that icon so badly on it, you could try blending it as well or at least try and change it's position Just a tip - looks odd lonely in that corner.

I agree with Eremedy about the fist. I like that you included it, it just looks...out of place with the rest of the sig. Blending it, making it larger but more transparent, something needs to bring the fist into the rest of the pic.

i wouldnt have used dark colors with that render/stock/ s. it looks too peace ful for it to have a red and black feel. also with the text try ways to blend it and never make the font too big or just unfitting. the try to avoid useing more than 1 render when you first begin. the white thing behind the face. i c ur trying to make the face the focal but the white behind him isnt needed. very destracting.


now that is is pretty good for a first sig but look up tutorials on techniques and learn all the tools. and use uf and stuff.

also i feel like you used a huge text just to fill in a blank. use smaller size sig if you find yourself with a huge gap of space that needs filling.

I know it looks kinda odd with the HUGE jelly/Toyish-looking letters, but thats not a mistake, I want it to look kinda... Hippy-ish? Also the same time I wanted it to look alittle serious, thats why I have that frame. I love the fun/ironic-ness of mixing dark-ish/ and rainbow.
(Thats why my char have rainbow hair and then all black cloths xD)
