Hello, I'm going to go on my FB19 Call of Duty very soon so I will be level 20 by tomorrow night so I have a question about Mounts with Spurs! I am a total noob when it comes to mounts. If I get a mount that is only for level 40 and above, what spurs do I need or does ANY spur work? Will the spurs allow me at level 20 to ride the mount? Are spurs for flying mounts too like a bird?

How much money on average can I expect to spend for a mount+spurs? I know only 11 more levels to go when I hit 30 until I get a flying mount but those will be long levels lol.

If someone has a link with details on mounts or any info to help me, with my questions it would be great! Thanks!

Yes you can spur a req 40 mount to level 20. Sadly, I'm very tired and don't really remember which ones.

Spurs do not work on any flying mounts.

Money to spend on mount+spur is mostly dependent on the mount. Look at the mount cost in gold as well as the spur, and multiply that by the going coin:gold rate. Adjust based on your need.

And level 20-30 isn't long at all, but I still like mounts over the aerogear in many instances. much faster.

yes but those levels seem forever to get too! lol!

My friend has a spurred Jaguar at level 23 and he loves it. I want to get one or a panther too cuz I run sooooooooooooooooooo slow. He's gonna get one for me hopefully on the auctions on sale.

CandyCaneNJ: To answer your original question for spurs. Both the Windsprint Panther and the Polaris Snow Cub both use the Spurs of Alacrity to reduce the level requirement from 40 to 20 and at the same time, increasing their speed by 1.0 extra.

The Chubbs, Quick Sika Reindeer, Ancestral Kirin and Vicious Raptor all need the Galewind Spurs to reduce their required level from 60 to 20 and also increasing their speed by 1.0, the same with the other spurs for the two other mounts.

I am unsure, but I dont think any of the other mounts can be spurred since they start with 10.0 speed (11.0 at level 11.)

As for the prices. If you spend real life money to charge your zen, youre looking to spend about 10 to 40 dollars, depending on which mount you buy. Then an additional 10 or 15 dollars for the spurs if needed. If you choose to spend your game cash to buy gold via the auctioneer, depending on the server youre on, you're looking at an exchange rate of 110k to 120k per 1 gold. I'm sure you can do the math on this one.

Also, the jaguar you are speaking of is just the new name given when the panther is spurred.

I got my Jaguar from my friend and Faction leader. I owe him big time! I just hatched my mount and getting used to him! He's beautiful and now I can see how fast he is too.

I am a Veno so I have only had pets. I had no idea you had to feed your mount too lol. He's only level 11, will he stay at that level? I would assume he would level like a pet would. His speed will increase or stay the same?

    Thanks for the info!

He is lvl 11 which is 11m/s the fastest he will go. So he won't level further like a pet does he is maxed.

Yes, as Kristiona said, 11 m/s is the fastest it can go. So yes, it will stay at level 11. The level of the mount determines its speed. At 1 it would be 10.0. At 2 it would be 10.1 and so on to level 11.

As for feeding it, its not that much. You can just keep water with you that you buy from the Pet Manager. When you get the money up, I suggest you buy a Blessing of Christmas. That will stop your pets (battle pets and mounts) from needing food.
