Oops! Taming skill question

OK, at lvl 7 I forgot to learn "Tame". Lvl 17 now, and the skill tree said it could be learned again now. Went to venomancer trainer, all available is purge, no tame. Am I just screwed out of tame for good or is there anything I can do to get it?

edit: also went to pet trainer, no dice

    I had this same problem the first time. I think all you need to do is complete some quest. The name of that quest escapes me at the moment. Anyone else know?

    the trapping quest? i didnt finish that cause i didnt know where the "flower bed" was. how do you finish the quest? can you give me a step by step...pls?

    this happened to me too, and I posted like the exact same thread at lvl 12

    but yeah, I was just too lazy to finish the quest until I realized how important it was b:surrender
