Hi PWi,
I would like to know how exactly Revice skill stack works (just to be sure)
I means when a dead have already resed (but not accepted yet) by a cleric with a revive low level
Did the higher level repplace the lower level or no effect ?
imao, In my mind, i always though that the higher level skill take over effet.
LAST THING FOR ALL PLAYERS WHOM HAVE KILLED BY MOBS.
If there are unless a cleric around your death's area, DONT BE SHY AND BE SMART to ASK FOR REVIVE.
Unless you love wast your time to grind and lose your exp for nothing.
All Clerics have a main mission, help others players when they can/avaible, so dont care to ask them.

It's the last revive that counts. Previous one gets overridden, even if it was higher level.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]b:laugh

I hesitate to say my main mission is to help people O.o
-- Especially when i can't grind an ounce of exp w/ ppl calling me left and right. Especially when people are rude about it grr b:angry. Its not our holy duty to rez everyone's demanding, incompetent, dead bums and buff them up. At least ask kindly b:victory0 -

Teh Revive is holy! Respect it foo! It saves 90% of the cost for a Guardian Angel! And it rez you on the spot!....

umm I think what she's trying to say is that SHE likes to help other people. Because SHE enjoys it. And that there are probably other people out there like HER. So feel free to ask for a res and save yourself some experience. I was a cleric on another game and didn't want to be one here because we was so abused there.
It was our fault if you died, our fault if you had to use *gasp* potions or charms. In short do what you can to save yourself, a cleric is there for *gasp again* support. Remember in a squad there is one of them and several of you.
And remember, we can heal, buff and revive you. But there is no written contract that says we have to. Be nice [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

That is far from my main mission. I rarely play my cleric anymore because of all the rude players demanding a res/healing. Not to mention being asked to squad, only to be kicked out as soon as the other members are done with their mobs because I'm not "needed" anymore.

You might want to stop the nonsense cussing. Also I think the last Revive counts because i remember being Revived by a low level, so i waited for my high level friend to Revive me and I didn't lose much exp.0 -

How is that turning out? I assume you would grind with axes or something like that than use a wand for buffs and the heals after the kills, right?Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.0 -

The only thing with this is that no one wants to help a Cleric out on boss killings.Why should Clerics waste thier time going to revive someone if they won't help them?Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.0 -

Same here... "Their exp... their exp" Do not encourage people to ask for more rezes! What about OUR exp??? I can refuse if somebody is being rude, but when people start begging or are at least polite about, how am I supposed to say no?? I end up flying across the map back & forth (or atleast through the area) rezing & buffing with no time for myself!

No. No, no, no and NO! It's NOT our duty to res random people. In fact, it's an HONOUR to be ressed by a cleric. You can ask us, and if we're kind and/or in a good mood, you can get a res. But if we say no, do NOT pull the "OMG U HAZ 2 REZ MI U R CLERIC!!! IMMA REPORT U NOW!" ****... I'm so sick and tired of little twats throwing temper tantrums if I don't respond to their demand of a res/buffs that it's affected everyone else, and now I never give out resses or buffs to random strangers except for teeny tiny timeholes in the middle of the day.
It's not our "holy" duty to be on standby for morons who go hug world bosses in their undies... If you care enough about your exp, buy a Guardian Angel, as Kott said.0 -

Well said. Not only about the ress, but the common support situations - people thinks the clerics is there to save their asses no matter what happens!
Me, as cleric, like to help people, I ress my faction's people when I can and I give ress to others nearby who asks. And, when in squad, I always try to help keep people alive, giving heals, buffs and what more I'm able to.
But try to aggro about 10 monsters, try killing one by one by yourself and wait for my heal. Still waiting? I must be far from you by now.
I always know how to teach my squad to give care to their lives.

I'm glad to know this. As I like to help, If I see a corpse, I can give random ress now. Starting now I'll ress, tell my ress lvl and leave him/her there. If he/she have a friend with higher ress, just don't press the raising button and wait for the incoming saving.0 -

Actually, I'm trying it the same way one would a Heavy Veno, with Mag Weapon, and HA armor. I haven't run into problems yet, he's only for when I'm bored, and he's only level 20... So, I can't say too much ATM, but from what I can see... He has a lot of potential. But you might be onto something about those Axes, and using them when a mob gets close... Hmm. I must try this.0 -

SERIOUSLY! This is why I chose to go LA and play solo because everybody wants you to help them but NOBODY WANTS TO HELP YOU.
And I'm SO tired of people asking me to res and buff them while I'm in the middle of fighting a mob! They spam "ress pls" "buff plz" "HELP CLERIC HALP" in the chat box, and run all over you, distracting you and they keep on spamming while you're about to die BECAUSE OF THEM.
Once I got frustrated and said outloud that I wanted to quest and in peace and right then and there, someone asked for a buff. I'm too nice because I did it anyway but NOT ANYMORE!

Haha, this reminds me of a scenario that happened to me ways back...
I once had a bm following me for a good 10 minutes spamming 'buff plz'. He wasn't doing anything else, just jumping around my quest mobs spamming normal chat and my pm screen with 'buff plz'. I completely ignored him and lol'd my heart out at just how pertinent and pitiful some people are. And no, he never got any buffs.
Here's the kicker though, that same person was questing in the same area as I a few days back, and I actually responded to the 'buff plz'. Since he was a bm, I gave him the three buffs minus spirit's gift as it was of no use to him. Still he kept spamming 'all buffs plz' so I buffed him with the spirit's gift as well (was a lvl 70ish bm at the adalwolves in forest of haze; sad I know). Anyway, seeing how they're physical mobs, I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask him to buff me with golden bell in return. The answer I got was 'sry mana expensive'. I'd post my thoughts at the time but it would come out as "**** *** **** **** ****" so yeah..
Just felt like sharing =P
On the other hand, ocassionally I'll get a polite "Could you please buff me?" or "Would you mind swapping buffs?" which is when I'll usually invite them to party and give them a full set of one hour buffs. As for you 'buff pls' people though... go play in traffic.b:dirty0 -

Is it just me? Or whenever I buff random barbs they always wanna give me their buffs too, while other classes just run off, with a "thanks" if I'm lucky. After starting Aoe grinding it's b:bye to all Zhen or other team grinds (unless it's a few of our friends lurer clerics & a DB wiz) where I am dependant on other "stronger" players to act as tanks. There's too much "secondary character" stereotyping for clerics.0 -
I like buffing people when they don't ask for it. People seem to be happier about it than when people say "buff plz" and I buff them.

first of all
We are clerics not heeal bots neither NPC healers we are players who want to play the game as much as any other player
Now I tend to click on people nearby and if they aren't buffed I give them buffs because I can and because I want to.
And if you ask for a buff a heal or a res its not too hard to say "can I have a (X) please?" instead of "heal plz" or worse "heal now plz"
we are players treat us with respect and you will live longer than if you don't.

To be honest I have tended to help people WAY too much. To the point where I could not get anything done for myself in game.
