Things about Nightscream Island.

Ello peeps. I've never heard much about Nightscream Island(In LC that is)[and except for people who wanna zhen] until I start having quests which required me to quest there. When I first teleported in NS via the boat I was pretty shocked by the number of red/pink names all with swords surrounding me. Knowing that they're prolly having a pk fair there I went ahead and start to look for the mobs Im supposed to kill. But the moment I got out of the boat this mage suddenly tried to pk me. But alas, she got killed by a BM instead. I returned to the boat and teled out after the wiz kept spitting vulgarities and that she was gonna kill me cus she thought I'm gonna kill her... which I didn't intend to at all. -_-

My question is; can people like me actually quest properly in NS?

    on nightscream? chances are no. people are greedy and selfish with the pirates, in which they believe they 'own' every mob in a particular spawn area, and if theyre there first, you have no right to touch said mobs. being on a PVP server, would suck even more because they can group gank you if you **** em off.

    your best bets are to:
    A; bring a party/charm and test your luck
    B; bring angels and go solo

    Any instance thats open to all players is likely going to become a pk fest on a PvP server(No nixes), so far I've only had 1 quest there, killing the Smythe(ridiculously easy). You could just skip your quests there if your just gonna lose more exp to pking than you'll gain.
    Currently flying internet spaceships around dodixie, moving to amarr soon.

    The Sanctuary people have spoken once again for the PvP servers.
    No, Nightscream is not as scary as you think it is.
    Imo, its like farming mats. At certain times of the day, places are more populated than others. Try your luck.

    But as Tear said, you're better off bringing a party.

    I didn't choose the wrong server, just that I wun wanna waste dolls that way.

    Well, maybe im just lucky, but in heavens tear NS island its not a problem. Yes, it is a very popular aoe grind spot, but the only thing u need to do its ask how long that person plans to stay, and wait. them the spot its all yours.
    Im lvling quiet fast since i start grinding here, i ended my quest pretty fast, and get enough money to cover my expenses.

    Maybe im just lucky, but i dont see that much of a problem in ns island in this server b:pleased

    Umm... you must have picked a bad time. I've recently finished most of my quests there on a number of different visits, I didn't get pk'd once..

    There was one time I left because it was just too crowded. You have to be smart you know, when a certain area has too many people questing for the same mobs, go somewhere else and come back a little later. ;P
    I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

    It's a pretty calm place actually. It's just sometimes there are pk wars at the entrance so when that is going on you should just wait a hour or so and come back later.

    I went to NightScream for the first time on a quest this past weekend. I must have picked a good time as there was no one there, except me and the mobs. However, all the mobs were higher levels than mine, no joke to a cleric. I had to get to a NPC in the middle of the main island, but there were mobs everywhere. I jumped off the bridge into the water and swam underwater to a place where the mobs were thinner on the beach. Zero mobs in the water except for some fish in one spot. I just avoided them. When I got out of the water, I used one of my Genie's skills Holy Path to run past all the mobs to my NPC. As soon as I clicked on him, they tried to swarm me. When done clicking, I ran up on the balcony around the hut behind him. The mobs couldn't follow. I then used my Town Portal to escape. Mission accomplished.
