Hey All,

I've been looking around in the forums for this information, but as of yet I have not found it...

Regarding teaching your pet new skills, do you need to first have the Pet Skill Books that you get from Mrs. Zoologist? I noticed those cost 300k or more, and that just seems insanely expensive. Is there another way for the pets to learn new skills?

    That is how you teach your pet a new skill.

    Also, it costs 100k to forget a skill and 200k to level up a skill.

    This does not include leveling your skills and your pets (such as healing and tame).

    You will also be using your own spirit when you level your pets skills up.

    If you aren't particular, try checking the auction house, occasionally you find cheaper pet books there. But yeah, it can be rather costly to get a pet some new skills, or to even improve the ones they have. This is one of the main reasons why torgrim braves are preferred over magmites, higher starting skills.
