So, adding magic attack. Are there classes this buff isn't helpful at all for? (Like Barb, BM, Archer?)

Or will it help their skills that use MP do more damage?

Might as well save MP if buffing someone with Spirit's Gift doesn't help at all. b:chuckle

    It helps wizards, venos and ofc you and other clerics....and i guess it also helps archers with their metal skills too.

    Haha, got me thinking there. I'm pretty sure archer metal spells are dex based but deal magic damage. Kinda like the opposite of plume shot. So I'm pretty sure spirits gift does them no good. At least I never rebuff them with it. In the same vein as titan's strength doesnt affect plume shot. b:surrender

    Any class, who does any elemental damage, this buff affect their skills.
    Like:
    -BM lv59 skills secondary damage
    -Archer: various attack skills, mostly metal and the fire self-buff
    -Wizard: all skills does elemental attack
    -Venom: wood element skills, few fire, etc.
    -Barb: poison fang self buff, some aoe skill

    It doesn't help Archers. Archer's metal skill damage is based off their base physical attack damage. Not magic attack. As they don't have a weapon with any magic damage, their magic attack is null to begin with. You buff nothing when you buff an Archer with Spirit's Gift.


    All that are affected-
    Venomancers
    Clerics
    Wizards

    As Aeneas said, SG only affects magic using classes. Physical classes have no mag dmg on their weapon to boost. It's why their character window shows 1-1 for magic attack. So without a weapon having magic damage on it to boost, then SG does nothing.

    How can you be 8x and still this dumb? Archer/Barb/BM magic skills are still based on their physical damage. Just as our plume shot and razor feathers, even though they are physical attacks, are still based our our magic damage.
