Selling god and buying SoF or buy battle pack ?

I want to make a veno alt for money making, and I am getting a herc.

I want to know if I should buy the battle pack with the gold I have or just sell the gold, and buy the SoF with coins ?

    The price of sof in catshops is aprox equal to the price in boutique... when you can find catshops selling that is. I bought mine from boutique. You can exchange feather for sof at the pet manager in NW arch but only 100 at a time. Therefore you will end up with a few extras. Buying the last 100 or so from catshop could even this up making exchange ezer and leaving you with no extras to dispose of later.

    That totally depends on the gold prices on your server.

    Also, how lucky are you?
    Would I want to go to Vegas with you or run off the plane when I see you enter? b:chuckle

    Depends on the price of SoF compared to gold and how lucky you are.

    IE: If gold cost 200k each and you could find SoF getting sold (or set up a catshop buying them and get a decent amount) for 3k each, you'd be above the "average" of 25 SoF per pack and be better off buying unless you were lucky with the packs and could get an average of over 30 per pack.

    Also keep in mid that gold has a 2% tax. Even if the price is 100k each, you're gonna wind up paying an extra 2k per gold. That times the 200 gold (inaccurate estimate but still a good point to use for a line) you'd be losing 400k in the transfer of coin to gold. Were you buying the SoF directly, no such loss would occur.

    If someone is advertising gold for 100k over WC (only place to find that price), there is no 2% extra.
