Yet another suggestion Full of ideas lately But I bet u will all agree with me on this one...
Today I met a rly fun player and we were chatting alot...
suddenly my sentences were being cut in half every time when they were a bit longer...
Ever happened to you? Is that really necessary? Why is there a limit on text input at all???
That is so annoying, please fix it / enlarge / something I beg u!b:surrender

Agreed. It should be longer. At least twice as long as it is now. I find it very annoying having to type and re-type the sentence when it gets cut off.Believe, level 2 Dreamweaver faction recruiting all classes. PM me in-game or drop me a message for more info!0

An interesting idea but untrue... It's because this game was made in China and that many Characters would be like 2 paragraphs of writing. Every character is a complete word so in 3 to 8 characters you'd have complete sentences. So, to them that's alot of space for us since our language is less compressed it's not much. Imagine for Spanish speakers their language usually takes up about ~30% more space then English does.
To accommodate all languages 5 lines would be sufficient. I think that PM's should have no limit or a very large amount. While WC should stay limited maybe move it up to 3 lines. Group Chat, Faction Chat should be 3-5 lines. PM should allow alot.
While I personally think that the entire chat system should be redone so I can have multiple windows for specific things and Log files for specified Chat windows.0 -
Chinese and PWI builds are different, they may keep whatever character limit they're comfortable with[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Hmm, and that. But PWI can still make a tiny little fix without the Chinese version making that same fix?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I for one totally despise the in game chat system. I agree that it is way past time for a makeover
1. The aforementioned lines are too short, but more than that the lines frequently end up in the wrong chat.
2. I would like to see a separate small box to designate normal, squad, faction, etc. This way when you quickly backspace to correct a typo you don't also erase your chat destination.
3. I would like to see repeated keystrokes like the ASWD direction keys automatically disengage the chat window so that you can run away from whatever is trying to kill you.0 -

Why not have an option in the settings . So that you can expand your text
on your own chat window. That away it doesnt mess with other players
chat windows. I do agree though its anoying not being able to type full paragraphs to your friends and or faction mates b:angry0 -
At the very least don't limit in the personal chat windows.... It's stupid to have it the normal chat limit in a seperate window. And if you are in one of those windows, its more than likely because you have a lot to say. Hard to have an actual full conversation when you are limited like that....0
