Can a veno with a herc solo any bosses in FB99?

    i think answer is no.

    level 83 herc can solo almost all fb89 bosses so your logic does not work

    a 49 herc CAN solo FB59 -.-; all you need to do is ask one of the 99 + players if anything AOEs or amps, other than that it should be pie if they dont

    I've been told they have very nasty aoes those 99 bosses. Otherwise I would have already killed them myself a few times for skill books and gotten my time quest done.

    i've heard some bosses aoe and some dont

    my question now is does anyone know if Mountain's Finger aoes? or does anything special i should be worried about with a herc tank?

    have u ever been in fb99? and are u talking about heaven or hell? i never been in hell yet but i think fb99 heaven is the easiest of the two... but it is still rather difficult. fb89 is easy to solo the mobs in low 80s, just spam pet heal and get some nice drops. but fb99 doesnt drop anything good there, except from the bosses, and its a lot more rare for a boss to drop a book than it is in fb89. at 90, i do not think u can solo bosses yet, mobs maybe but not worth it. higher 90s u can try it ... maybe like 95+ but i kinda dont think its worth the time.

    Why exactly are the bosses hard? There attack on PWdatabase seem to be simmilar to fb89 bosses.

    I am atm only curious about bosses and why a herc can/can't solo them

    I haven't been through Abaddon, but I think there's a boss in there that's immune to physical damage. There isn't a phys immune boss in Seat of Torment, but there are plenty of boss and mob aoes. I don't think it's possible for a low 90 herc to solo it, nor would I understand why anyone would want to go through all that effort. Books only drop off of the very last boss, and the fb took hours even with a squad.

    well im trying to figure out if i want to go heaven or hell and if its ever possible to get these books it will go along way in my decision

    I am way way off getting a sage or demon i was thinking sage for the aoe purge but was told that its really hard to get that book cos it only drops from the last boss in the fb99 but if a herc could solo that boss i would love to no as that would help my decsion to go sage or demon

    I went to heaven fb99 a few days ago, and the normal mobs do significant aoe damage, tho not all of them. To make it worthwhile youd definitly have to use wine, but if the wine is anywhere near as ineffective as it is for fb89 (as in leaving most of the mobs still up) then it wouldnt be worth the effort.

    As for the bosses themselves, I dont know if they have any special tricks which stops venos soloing them.

    I have fb 99 wine, I suppose I can go try later. You know I don't care if I die. :p

    Edit: Well I tried but my internet won't allow it. It INSISTS on running at 1 mbps which just leaves me with 1 of 2 options. Lag, or disconnect. It's ALL I can do.

    Used wine, got to the first monster, started to kill it, lost the signal, got dc, died. The only thing I was able to notice was that the first monster did not aoe but was hitting my herc for around 1k or so hit. (I may have been looking at the wrong numbers I was too busy lagging at the time to really care.)

    Edit 2: Finally was able to do something. I'll update this as I go.

    There is a chain of single monsters left after you use the wine.

    Hellfrogs have a strong water aoe.

    First mini boss. He is immune to fire, does an aoe hp debuff and a fire aoe that hit me from 1k to 1500 a hit.

    Thats as far as I can go I'm too busy lagging or disconnecting. I can't kill it like that.

    Mountain's Finger in Abaddon can be tanked with veno easy. Hes wood immune (so no nuking :D), sometimes aoe debuffs wood defence, does aoe phys dmg (when i moved to max range he seemed to stop aoe'ing). Debuffs herc poison dot - have to spam heal when dot is on herc. Mmm haven't tried soloing with herc other bosses (only full pt) - was doing only un-wined runs for this one boss just to get cape (heavy/arcane - ran past most mobs) and was 93lvl when i did it.

    mountain figer: doable <<< really only one u care about since he drops fb99 cape
    all the rest... good luck ^^... amp, -p.def u name it

    Heaven:
    most do some kinds of debuff so cant =\
    Ethereal abomination that drops books u can...

    this is using a lvl 100 herc with no Blessing skill... if u have blessing skill on ur herc then it is different....
